This song is kind of a pair with an older song of theirs The Melting Point Of Wax. Daedalus (dead-a-less) is the story of Icarus through the perspective of his father Daedalus. The Melting Point Of Wax was a song on Artist In The Ambulance and was writen from the point of view of the son, Icarus. You should check it out, it's one of my favorite songs on that album lyrically.

Excelent choice! This is an amazing song! You should check out For Miles, a littoe different from Daedalus, but it's a great example at how diverse this band is.

b b b but what about the story though? It's about the story of Icarus that flew too close to the sun from the perspective of his father Daedalus. One of my favorites story telling songs of all time. Good stuff. Maybe pay a little more attention to the lyrics next time friend. You rock

It's not my thing on a first listen. I talk about it all the time. You'll get use to it if you stick around. Thanks for the comment, enjoy the channel.

Voice reminds me of Athlete - who I love.
Lacks a bit of melody for me, but will try some more.
