I know it’s written lookup when you check there but when you delete account it will delete its contacts as well which is a master details feature. Try once and let me know if it is still the case
Hi @akhilesh : you are correct, But in salesforce the relationship between account and contact is Lookup at UI level (We can create contact without populating the Account field) and Master-Detail at OWD level (Cascade deletion is possible). That's the Reason it is called as a Special Kind of Relationship in Salesforce.

We can say it as lookup with cascade delete. If I am not wrong. 😊

What happens to the junction object if one parent owd is set to private and other parent OWD is set to public read/write?
It will take the lowest security among the two, so in your case it will take the private owd for junction object

how to disable manual sharing....it is enable even if i select OWD is private for opportunity object
If OWD is private then manual sharing will be enabled, you have to change it to public read only or public read/write to disable manual sharing button

Manual sharing button will not display once you change it to public, you don’t have disable anything
