Hello Travel Ruby, would you ever consider (in the future) to review the Casino Hotels in Macau? Its now the gambling capital of the world (overtaking Las Vegas) they have a Venetian, MGM Grand etc. I’ve never been myself, but its always interested me. Love your channel by the way!
We stayed at Park MGM for a week at the end of July, loved it! We had a great room on the 26th floor, the safe didn't work when we checked in, they sent an engineer the same day and gave us $100 dining credit and $100 beverage credit for the inconvenience. Just fixing it would have made us happy enough!! The pool area is really nice, great to chill. Would and will stay here again - recommend!!!
Just came back from Vegas, stayed at MGM Grand. It’s amazing how different the atmospheres are between Park and Grand, and they’re just across the street from each other. Found Park to be much cleaner, smelled nicer, less crowded and less crazy overall. Next time will stay at Park
Ruby, your editing is 100%! You do such a great job at giving us the info we need, hi lighting the best there is to offer and keeping the videos fun and fresh! Vegas is my happy place and you make it better!
Great review Ruby as usual!!!! We just stayed at the PARK MGM in the beginning of July and we loved our stay there. The pool was awesome and went there every morning to enjoy the sun and the Vegas heat. Primrose was awesome!!! We went there for breakfast a couple of times and the service and food was excellent. The rooms were comfortable and we got upgraded to a strip view room which was nice. One of the main reasons we stayed there too was the fact it was totally non smoking both hotel & casino which is rare in Vegas. We will definately stay there again!!! Keep making those great reviews we love watching them!!!
Park MGM Grand is highly underrated, definitely my go-to place to stay on the strip! You really can't beat the amenities, cleanliness and location for the price.
Just stayed at Park MGM. Many positives! Staff was incredibly kind-bell, valet, check in-all friendly and welcoming. Felt at home! The restaurant selection is plentiful for a hotel this size-I was happy with the selection and quality of food. I also appreciated the smaller scale-casino floor was not packed and queuing up for taxi was never more than two/three people and there was a constant flow of taxis. We were there on a busy weekend with concerts and sports, and it was the perfect location to venture out from. I also loved the color scheme and the decor of the main floors. A few things to note: the room is basic and expectations need to be managed; This is not the Palazzo or the Cosmo. Great water pressure, nice furnishings, and comfortable beds. I could hear our neighbor opening their blinds every morning, but shockingly could not hear anything else. There was some dust in the corners, carpet has seen better days, and the silicone in the bathroom on the door needed some TLC, but all other tiles and fixtures were clean. I definitely did not get grossed out. Random but one pillow case was super scratchy, just swapped it out and was fine. I would definitely stay again if I need a more affordable option.
I have stayed at park mgm with a free room offer. I thought the room was fine. No complaints. But I wanted to mention how times have changed with the food in vegas. Now it is all about the food and expensive eating. Back in the 70's it was all about cheap food.
Only a few places have the good deals of yesterdecades. Station Casino's have a deal after a certain time. I miss being able to get the food cheap. Now with MGM rewards, you actually get more points buying food than gambling.
My biggest regret is not going to Vegas in the 1980's when my Grandma always wanted me to come along on her vacations there - we lived in Canada. I had no interest. I'm now so in love with going there, and went for my first time just a few years ago. I now live in L.A. so drive over once a month for 4 day holidays. But I wish I had been in the early 80's with Gran, to have seen all the long demolished resorts back when they were up and running.
I'm not even planning a Vegas trip anytime soon, but this is still one of my favorite channels. I also just had to comment how much I LOVE the stripey maxi dress, Ruby! Your sense of style is always so on-point.
This is one of my favorite channels. There are a lot of Vegas travel videos but most of them feel like ads. THIS is an informative ad. Before this channel I think I just came to Vegas blindly blowing money but not really knowing what I’m doing. I’ve learned so much about Vegas from this channel. I can’t wait to apply what I learned from you. Also I’m doing elevator dances every chance I get, thanks to you.
Hey Ruby, we’ve been watching your guides for 3 months before coming to Vegas. Thanks for all the great advice. You are by far the best on TH-cam for Vegas reviews.👍
We stayed at Park MGM in our most recent visit in the nomad rooms, and we LOVED it! Closets are bigger too! The property being smoke free was the big draw for us but I also really loved the pool. I also just love the decor style of the hotel, it feels like a boutique hotel. Your review was spot on as always!! 😊
This video makes me rly excited for my trip to Vegas in Nov 2024. Will be my 2nd visit here and decided to stay at Park MGM due to the overall rating and price. Based on this video, I'm feeling more confident that i made a good choice 👍🏾. Thank you!
@@nicolepentz6002 I will admit that I didn’t gamble in the parkmgm casino, but the tram to the Bellagio and the easy walk to the Aria made it very much worth it
Great review! Entry level room reviews are so relevant and useful. Thank you Ruby! I have been in the casino and Eataly, and have never stayed there, but it’s on my list of places to stay, thanks to your review. Being smoke free is awesome and being next door to the fabulous Crack Shack is a real plus.
My wife and I stayed here early 2024 for the Sofia Carson concert, and this video was detrimental to us choosing to stay here, so I figured I would travel back in time and say thanks on the day you first published this Ruby!
Park MGM was awesome. The room was the only negative but I loved how organized the Uber drop off and pick up was. The air inside was crisp and they had plenty of food options. The best part was the pool. Super chill and relaxing pool area with 3 options so you can hide from the sun. Definitely recommend.
Great review Ruby! (and Mr. Ruby). My wife and I absolutely love Park MGM. Especially how Starbucks is just outside the main elevator lobby. The pools are great (the nachos from the bar are MASSIVE), and the pools are nice and calm. Very clean. The beds are just comfortable as hell and I sleep great on them. You summed it up perfectly when you said it's a property that most folks sleep on. Totally agree. This is a highly underrated property!
I've stayed several times when it was Monte Carlo, and loved it because it's a smaller casino, and my favorite thing is the garage escalator goes directly to the lobby/elevators to rooms, instead of walking thru the whole damn casino! Would like to stay at Park MGM.
Love Park MGM. Location, lower minimums, clean casual feel, nice bars and restaurants, shows, sports venues, easily get to Aria, Belagio, Cosmo, NYNY, no smoking!
I just got back from a 5 day stay at Park MGM, and its my new favorite casino to stay at. Being smoke free makes it so much more wnjoyablw to walk around! Loved all the options in Eataly. The pool was fantastic. My friends and I did a day bed for $75 on a weekday, which felt like a good deal. Nomad Library restaurant was the most incredible dining experience I have ever had in my life. I cannot wait to stay at Park MGM again.
Mr and Mrs ruby I went to Vegas this weekend and your TH-cam helped make trip memorable. Thank you for being awesome and informative even though PAC is rolling in his grave it was still entertaining. Stayed at MGM Grand’s stay well and it was 10/10
I stayed there not long after the rebranding and at that time most of the restaurants were not in or open, but because of the newness and lack of food amenities, meant the room rates were quite low, like in the $39 to $59 range if memory serves. I liked it. It was a good Thanksgiving weekend.
Have stayed here 6-7 times since it was renovated/name change. It really is a great location, especially if you are looking to go to events at T-Mobile. The Casino is also smoke-free, and they have some good food choices(Bavette's, the Italian Market). It really is a solid choice for value/location/quality.
As always, knocked it out if the ballpark. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Ruby. Stayed at Park MGM a few times. Love the place. Smoke free. Pool area is great. Great options all around. Viva!
Park is our go to place. We regularly get good comps and love the fact that it is smoke free. We certainly like to splurge from time to time and go to Vdara (**** another smoke free property****) but the money we save here allows us to go upscale on our diners. Primrose and the coffee (Lavazza) is an excellent way to start the day off.
We stayed at the NoMad, which is the top 4 floors of the Park MGM, just two weeks ago. Everything you said about the resort is 100% accurate. The non-smoking casino was fantastic! We are planning our trip for next year and will definitely check out Best Friends! So many choices, so little time! Thanks for the great review!
I stayed there in 2021 for my daughter's wedding. Loved the location of it.the tram wasn't going due to covid but we enjoyed it. The non smoking and the cvs close by were a plus.
Thanks for the great video, Ruby. We live next door in City Center, and love going to the Park MGM for dinner and shows (at Dolby Live). Our favorite restaurant in the Park MGM is Bavette's Steakhouse...you'll have to try it! 😋
Just booked here (all nights comped) for July 2023 for our 20th anniversary. 1st thing I did was come to see your review. I'm glad you liked it. We haven't actually been in Park MGM yet. We spent a good full day at MGM Grand, and part of a day at NYNY. I'm super excited about this trip now.
100% agree! I stayed here for 1 night for a concert a few weeks ago and it exceeded my expectations. Staff is so friendly and kind and it’s super comfy. My only critique was the same as yours, the walls are too thin. I also wouldn’t stay in this room type for a longer trip because I LIVE for a good bathtub on vacation but for a short, overnight stay, I definitely would return. The shower is nice and powerful. Primrose is delightful as well. I will have to try that Best Friends place. :)
Been there twice have another trip in Nov. Love the ZERO smoking policy, just nice not to smell like an ashtray. Love the the offerings like the affordability and it's a bit more chill than the other Go Go Resorts.
I really liked the Park MGM. I had that same type of room when I stayed there this past 9th-11th. I hadn't stayed there and I really liked all it had to offer. I was there to see Silk Sonic at the Dolby Live so of course the proximity was great, but I was definitely pleasantly surprised for staying there because that's where the venue I was going to was located.
Park MGM use to the Monte Carlo...So even tho you said it opened in 2017, the property actually opened in 1996. They did a good job on the renovations. You mention T-Mobile Arena, it's a very cool atmosphere during the game days. If you have a chance to go to a game, go - Since I am a Packers fan, it's like going to Lambeau.
If you stay at Nomad, there is also another pool only accessible to Nomad guests. Best Friend isn't cheap. It just appears cheap to today's $100/person/meal strip standards.
Haven't stayed here, but my husband and I love Eataly and the casino. We stumbled upon their Learn to Play Craps lesson at 11am on a Friday. I think it might be every day? I've wanted to play at a table forever but was too intimidated to walk up to a table to learn! It was seriously the BEST.
Thanks for all of your entertaining videos, so glad I got to see Park MGM very nice looking, laid back property! Always love seeing pool options, so THANK YOU TRAVEL RUBY !!!
To add onto the thin doors, you can clearly hear people next door to you. I’m assuming since it looks so empty, you were there on a weekday. You can hear normal conversations in the rooms connected next to you. My fiancé and I were woken up by someone on a phone call next door
I stayed in April and it was nice! At that time my only grip was the pool has lots of shade coverage in the morning from the surrounding buildings and at that time of year that made it a little too cold to enjoy until later in the afternoon - but to be expected! Smoke free is definitely a life saver and a refreshing break from the rest of the casinos on the strip if you're a non-smoker :)
You're actually amazing at what you do. You know what you want in a hotel and you're so vibrant! I'm so happy to be intuned with TRAVEL RUBY and not any other youtuber. Hello to Mr. Ruby as well. Wish I can catch you guys somewhere las vegas and have a drink or 3 ): Lovely channel!
I’m surprised people never mention Off The Record, the club inside Park MGM. I went there while Silk Sonic was doing their residency. The place was packed and tons of fun!
Hi Ruby & Mr. Ruby, New viewer from Wisconsin GO PACK!! Love Vegas, your videos & reviews. Your maxi dress was awesome too. So happy to have found your channel. TFS Stay safe & ✌
Just stayed here last month for the Usher concert! Pros: Great customer service! Starbucks being right at the base of the elevators. Easy navigation. Great location on the strip. Cons: Rooms wasn’t clean when we arrived. Has to call front desk TWICE before someone came to clean. The safe was broken- was fixed right away. The air conditioning in the room was horrid. In 115 degree July Vegas heat, the air was cool never cold. It was hard to get comfortable. Also the hallways are dark and narrow. Overall I really enjoyed stayed at the hotel for the concert!
I have stayed at the Park MGM and I agree with most of your comments. I love that it's non-smoking hotel and casino. Where I don't agree with you is on the pool area. Where it use to be a fun and lively area with three different types of pool area's to visit. Now it just a sleepy boring area with two rectangle pools and a square pool.
For a single guy (like myself) the room and the closet space was fine. I smoke so I went across to the NYNY to gamble and have fun. Bathroom and bed were great as was the rest of the room.
Great video Ruby, and 100% correct on every point! We love Park MGM, it's affordable and easy to navigate, has great restaurants and a relaxed vibe, plus it's attached to the Park Theater. On our next stay at the Park we'd like to try Nomad for a couple of nights, the attelier rooms look incredible!
I stayed at the Park MGM in April and it was great. Love the location, that it is non-smoking, and tram! Used the MyVegas reward for 2 comp nights and tied it in with a paid reservation. Would def stay there again!
I stayed in the basic 2 queen room back in May, and it looked almost identical to your room but just a smidge bigger. Similar couch, table, tiny little tv console table set up. Park MGM has the potential to be one of my favorite resorts, except for one thing..... the closet/storage situation! I was traveling with two other people, and there was literally not a single place to store clothes. The closet was too small to fit more than a few hangers (and certainly could not fit even a closed suitcase). There were a few tiny drawers in the closet, that could fit underwear or other small things, but no dresser or drawers in the room. So with three people the room quickly became covered in exploding suitcases, piles of clothes and stuff all over the table. It's too bad because I LOVE everything else about that place.
I just got home from an eight day stay at the Park MGM and it was fantastic. It was clean, well located and had great dining options. Not only was it right next to the T-Mobile Arena (I was there for UFC 279 and the Canelo vs. GGG fight), it had Crack Shack next door, a CVC five minutes walk away and Denny's across the road for a cheaper eating option. My one negative was the check in when I arrived at 3pm and the self check in didn't work. I then had to wait in line for 30 minutes and then another 45 minutes when my room wasn't ready. After seeing numerous people receive keys without issue I then lined up again and was finally given my room. Apart from that it was a very pleasant stay at this underated hotel/casino. And the no smoking was awesome!
Been a minute since I have stayed there but still an elegant, lovely casino. I miss the Sports Pub in the back and do remember the rooms being small, thanks Mr and Mrs Ruby.
WOW Thanks Ruby for the room tour. Very nice!!!! I always wondered about how nice they look. Hey I just heard on KTNV that Ballys will become Horseshoe Las Vegas!! I can't wait to see the changes. I know you will keep us posted. It been 70 yrs since the first Horseshoe Casino opened downtown. I'm really excited about seeing the MSG Sphere coming to Vegas. Thats going to be massive! I see U2 will be the opener for it. Thanks for sharing all your super videos. Your the best!!! :) You rock!
You review was spot on. We love the Park MGM for all the reasons you mentioned except for the hall ways to your rooms which are slightly outdated but for us was a non issue! Great review!
I love the pool!!! And, my drinks were big, strong and comped!!! And, I loved the non-smoking....we visited other casinos and I was always ready to come back to smoke free Park MGM. Awesome review❤❤
HI RUBY, I LOVE THE WAY YOU GIVE US THE TOUR AROUND PLACES AND DETAIL ON FOODS ETC, GOOD INFORMATION AND LOVE THAT YOU PROVIDE PRICES COST OF ALL YOU EXPERIENCE, NICE AND THANKS
Thanks for the insight Ruby! Loved the production of the video too (so thanks Mr Ruby too!) We love Park MGM We’ve been staying here every time we go back to Vegas (since I think 2018) and it never disappoints. The 2bed room is our preferred, and last we were there we were on floor 25 facing T Mobile arena too and had an amazing view (like the one on the video!) Waylay, Starbucks, the Gaga place. It’s all so well decorated and the smoke free… amazing! You walk on there and it’s like you’re smelling fresh air for the first time. I definitely recommend it to everyone now and like you said in the video, people are sleeping on it! I love to hype it up and I haven’t heard complains yet! And the pool! It’s so peaceful (the 18+ one at least). Lovely video, thanks again… and I can’t wait to be back at Park MGM!
I think this is my favorite hotel on the south side of the strip for the price point. I like that it is non smoking, newer rooms and not so massive and crowded. I think a big plus is also easy access to some of the only cheaper quick eats on the south side of the strip in and outside the NY NY hotel. I also love the food options inside of Park MGM as it has excellent Asian food (2 restaurants) a really charming cafe, and one of the more underrated steak houses on the strip in Bavette's. It also is the only hotel on this side of the strip where you can quickly get access to the middle of the strip with the free monorail to Bellagio. For some reason this hotel is always pretty easy to get cheap/or free rooms compared to other hotels that are not even as good.
Love your videos Mr ruby you do such a good job with the music And Ruby - you are such a joy And love ParkMGM and you so caught the vibe Had a room like this with a view of the roller coaster and the arena - so loved it Also dig the target across the strip - great prices and selection and friendly staff
I am staying there in June. Coming in town to bowl the USBC Women’s National Tournament at South Point. I was able to score a comp room for my entire stay from our play last summer. I chose it because of it being nonsmoking. Looking forward to my stay there.
Ruby, you didn't mention Top Golf next door. At least it was when we were last there in 2016. That place is so fun, especially for golfers. My wife and I really enjoy your work. Cheers.
Best Value Hotel in Vegas. Nice Pool, Fun Casino and Easy to get to Aria, Bellagio and Center Strip via the Tram. I didn't LOVE The food options but that didn't stop me from having a great time.
Park MGM is great! Best Friends was the highlight for sure. Primrose is abit overpriced but it's Vegas. I found that the over 18 pool was crowded and just hung out in the pool by the hot tub, best 4 hours of doing nothing. The spa was wonderful as well.
I love your videos, Ruby!!! Your voice is perfect to just listen to while I work and Iearn so much about Vegas while doing so ahaha. I have a trip planned next week and I'm super pumped!
I loved it due to the cleanliness and location. You're walking distance from South and Center strip. Eataly and the sportsbook bar were solid options. I would come here again.
Staying for four nights in May for my birthday! We have a comped room - I am hoping to get an upgrade to the room you have in your other video. Thanks for all of your videos!
I’ve been binging on your videos. I was married in Vegas my husband wants to return and we have no clue where to stay. Your videos are wonderful. Ruby your sundress is so cute. Love to know where you purchased.

Spot on..looks like a lovely property and the non smoking is awesome..
Thank you so much for the video!! We are planning on staying at the Park the next time we are in Vegas, and I am so glad to see it up close!!!
Any issue with dogs? I see that it is dog friendly. I have a room booked here but not sure I like the idea of animals having been in the room.
I have stayed at the Park MGM and I agree with most of your comments. I love that it's non-smoking hotel and casino. Where I don't agree with you is on the pool area. Where it use to be a fun and lively area with three different types of pool area's to visit. Now it just a sleepy boring area with two rectangle pools and a square pool.
came here for the review of park mgm but my goodness. cinematography and music in this video is off the chart. keep it up!
The quality of editing and production is amazing
Great presentation as usual, Exceptional video editing and the backing music as well.
Highly recommend staying in the “nomad” which is their boutique hotel, it has a chest of drawers and a closet :)
I had the same complaint. No dresser to put clothes in. No place to even put your suitcase.
I had to use the couch for my friend and I’s suitcases but I can’t imagine having another person’s stuff too!
I love Park Mgm. Very clean non smoking and amazing interior design
The rooms are nice. Yes the doors are thin. The non smoking deal works for me.
I stayed at the Monte Carlo on my honeymoon in 1998. I have a room with an awesome view and saw Lance Burton's show. The spa and pool were amazing.
I love the pool!!! And, my drinks were big, strong and comped!!! And, I loved the non-smoking....we visited other casinos and I was always ready to come back to smoke free Park MGM. Awesome review❤❤
Not at all a bad room. SO much nicer than the "cheapest" room at Excalibur.
Loved the production of the video too (so thanks Mr Ruby too!)
We love Park MGM
We’ve been staying here every time we go back to Vegas (since I think 2018) and it never disappoints. The 2bed room is our preferred, and last we were there we were on floor 25 facing T Mobile arena too and had an amazing view (like the one on the video!)
Waylay, Starbucks, the Gaga place.
The lazy River was so much fun.
Easy hotel to navigate through. Used to have a great brewery as well.
Best hotel ever. Clean. Affordable. And best location!
Great video and review as always! ❤️ I wish there were more smoke-free properties in Vegas!!
Mr ruby is the Martin Scorsese of travel videos.....editing skills second to none
If you play slots, ParkMGM and NYNY also gives the best comps (Resort Credits) compared to even Luxor and Excalibur.
Love your videos
Mr ruby you do such a good job with the music
And Ruby - you are such a joy
And love ParkMGM and you so caught the vibe
Had a room like this with a view of the roller coaster and the arena - so loved it
Also dig the target across the strip - great prices and selection and friendly staff
I am staying there in June. Coming in town to bowl the USBC Women’s National Tournament at South Point. I was able to score a comp room for my entire stay from our play last summer. I chose it because of it being nonsmoking. Looking forward to my stay there.
Staying there in June!! Can’t wait! Thanks for your reviews Ruby!
Ruby, you didn't mention Top Golf next door. At least it was when we were last there in 2016. That place is so fun, especially for golfers. My wife and I really enjoy your work. Cheers.
Your a very good speaker also Ruby and people should watch your videos before they visit
Most definitely. I stayed there before and will do so again. Great content Ruby.
Best Value Hotel in Vegas. Nice Pool, Fun Casino and Easy to get to Aria, Bellagio and Center Strip via the Tram. I didn't LOVE The food options but that didn't stop me from having a great time.
Just came back from Park MGM. Loved the pool also and smoke free is fabulous!
I have a trip planned next week and I'm super pumped!
parkmgm is currently by favorite property , love the nomad and the whole atmosphere
Great video Ruby !!!!!....Always love your videos..keep up the good work...Can't wait to be in Vegas again !!!!!
I’ve been binging on your videos. I was married in Vegas my husband wants to return and we have no clue where to stay. Your videos are wonderful.
Ruby your sundress is so cute. Love to know where you purchased.
Gotta say Ruby...your videos keep getting better and better!!❤️
