knockers - from wikipedia: "The Knocker, Knacker, or Tommyknocker (US) is a mythical, subterranean, gnome-like creature in Cornish and Devon folklore. The Welsh counterpart is the coblyn. It is closely related to the Irish leprechaun, Kentish kloker and the English and Scottish brownie. "
Creators need to embrace their pips if that is what their deck is. I love pips, love them. I'm a playing card reader. But if you hide the fact your deck is a pip deck, that tells me you throw your pips together without any thought. This says to me you don't understand pips, so therefore, I doubt you really understand tarot. That is my snobby but informed cartomantic opinion🤣
Anu (sometimes Nemain is used though is considered a separate Goddess), Macha, and Badb are what make up the Triple Goddess the Morrigan. I have walked alongside the Morrigan for most of my life, and Stephanie Woodfields research and work regarding the Morrigan is top notch. To me, this artwork and the cards that they show have extreme significance to the Morrigan 's pathworking, and I can guarantee Stephanie's write ups in the guidebook will be fantastic and on point. I cannot wait to get The Call of the Morrigan Oracle and pair it with my Tarot of the Sidhe - the Morrigan and the Sidhe/fae are interlinked in the mythos of Avalon. Badb, the crone aspect, would be seen washing the bodies of soldiers who were to soon fall in battle. Also, the Morrigan is directly related to prophecy, so I'm really surprised there hasn't been a deck yet. So pleased that this is coming out ❤
I have the mythologia fennica, and yes, it was indie. It's one of my favourites, and reads very intuitively for me, although I'm not FInnish. However, there might be some similar concepts/ motives in the mythologies and stories of northern Europe. I find this deck is like primordial mythology/ culture/ storytelling. Wild and natural, and earthy. The guidebook is very nice, and explains all the stories/ motives. That said, it is not a classic golden dawn deck (not aligned to kabbalah or astrological associations or such), so it needs some openness from the reader and might not be the deck for striktly "traditional" RWS/ Thoth readers.
Well ladies, I got my copy of Choose Your Own Adventure Tarot deck today and it does not incorporate any sort of choosing or decision making we've come to love with the classic CYOA books. I am VERY disappointed. :(
I love Wisdom of the Wild Things. The wooby I've heard someone say is that thing that made you happy as a child and safe and comforted, grounded. It's a very inner child deck for me
Thank you for including my tarot deck, Every Little Thing You Do Is Magic, in this preview! Since you mentioned specifically being interested in the guidebook, head's up there's actually an entire workbook that goes with this (sold separately) which pairs self-care and therapeutically inspired exercises for every single card, it can be used with any tarot deck! ❤Thank you again :)
LOL, you guys are cracking me up. Sasquatch are known for knocking on trees to communicate...hahaha hence knockers. Indrid Cold was said to communicate with people before the bridge collapsed in the Mothman Prophesy. 💖
Great video! So much fun to watch and listen to you two go back and forth. My thoughts on a few decks mentioned… Familiar Field Oracle - I just got this deck in the mail from USG. I have the indie version, but the cardstock is just too thick for my liking and haven’t used it much. USG did an amazing job on the cardstock IMO. It overhands and riffles like a dream, plus the fan out is nice too. A+ USG! The Storytellers’s Tarot - This one I’m really interested to learn more about. However, I wish it was coming out by USG or Llewellyn. I am not a fan of HH cardstock or their size for tarot decks. The Mystic, Augur, & Sage Oracle - I was initially on the fence about this one, but the artwork like Kelly's other decks such as Journey of the Sacred Bee is so gorgeous and pulls me in. So, I reached out her to get a sense of the card meanings which she shared one with me. I didn’t ask permission to share it, so I won’t post it here but I will say it is lovely. I am excited for this deck.
Haha! You two, Knockers refers to how Sasquatch communicate with one another and when you hear them knocking in the woods you know they are close and to be vigilant. And Monkey Mind is a saying having to do with having restless thoughts. You don’t need to reference the guidebook if you think of your thoughts as being a monkey swinging from tree to tree getting distracted by things constantly. ❤
I’m excited for the stickers for tarot of the divine because I do daily draws and journal every day because I would love to use the stickers in my tarot!
Woah, 60 comments already... OK. Supernatural Oracle. Nope. I love the Insight Ed. Supernatural Tarot, they did a really good job choosing characters. I can see just from the bits and pieces of the tiny photos - the Oracle has some of the same stuff. 🙄 Same for the Game of Thrones Ladies. I am not amused. Pretty tired of all the vector art with pips, can you say, "cash grab"? The Mythilogica Fennica, I just got from a friend, there's no way they did justice to the book, it's a beautiful larger guidebook and I just can't imagine they got all of the tales in there. The artwork is very naive, but it works. Tiera May KILLING IT. hullooooooo. 🖤🖤🖤 and the Essentially unEssential looks so clever. Me wantz.🎉🎉🎉 Love watching you two nerd together. 😊
I follow An Mórrígan, so I am interested in the Mórrígan deck, but I honestly don't care much for the artwork, so I'm not sure. Plus, I'm not the biggest fan of Stephanie Woodfield's work on An Mórrígan. I don't doubt her connection with the goddess, or her sincerity, but I find she uses too much of her UPG in her work without stating that it's her own UPG. I would jump on this deck immediately if it was written by someone in the Irish Pagan School (like Lora O'Brien or Morgan Daimler). That said, I'm glad that it *doesn't* have key words on the cards. I'd honestly be less inclined to get it if it did. I don't want someone else's personal gnosis (keywords they might associate with certain cards) on my deity cards... if that makes sense lol. Like, what if I don't associate certain key words with the title? If they put "love" or, I don't know, "strength" (I just woke up, my mind isn't working right now lol, I can't think of keywords), on the "Anu" or "Sword of Nuada" cards, that may not be what I associate with those cards. I'd probably get pissed using them and want to chop off the keywords lol (which I did with the "Wildwood Tarot" like 10 years ago... I hated the keywords). I mean, when it comes to deity work, I'd prefer to have the artwork and title and use my own interpretations/personal gnosis/etc. for the meaning. Plus, historical, folklore, mythology information in the guidebook (but not on the card itself). I know that appeals to less people, and would therefore sell less, but I guess I view deity work less-so in the realm of capitalism. One could argue that having keywords on the cards would bring more people to An Mórrígan, but I don't want "The Mórrígan for beginners" cards, I want cards that are going to work for my practice, ya know? Anyway, just my personal take on it of course.
Elemental heights does have art book available as add on. So glad you gave this a spotlight and I’m hoping it can get the attention it deserves to become fully funded on kickstarter
"Dani (shakes head in disapproval), the organza though." "No" "Yes" "No. Parachutes in summer" . . . LOL hysterical. I already pre-ordered the Morrigan oracle -- the art looks amazing!
I ordered the Game of Thrones & House of the Dragon: Women of Westeros Oracle. I read the books before the show came out and am a huge fan, so it was a must. It will be interesting to see the quality of this publisher. I am taking a chance because of my love of this world. It arrives tomorrow! I am also a huge Supernatural fan, do I can see myself purchasing that Oracle as well.
I definitely need to see more of the Tarot of the Divine sticker situation. I love that deck. I might also have to keep an eye on the Tarot Gallimaufry. It’s beautiful.
YESSSS that's the one I asked to see (: I cannot wait. Art or no art, it's Stephanie Woodfield, so I feel the messages are on point for the Morrigans energy ❤
Love you guys together in one video! Grab my tea and settle in for some giggles. I have three cat decks (Pagan Cats, Mystical Cats and White Cats), and pre ordered the Enchanted Feline Forest (oops!). The Magic Cats Tarot looks super cute, but you are right about the minors... I need to see they are not pips. I respect people who like pips, but it's not for me. ROFL agree, too much boy bits ... honestly, though, the men with crab/spider legs creep me out. Thank you, ladies, as always. You guys make my day!
1:06:33 soooo US Games just posted a sneak peek of this deck and it IS in fact!! GOLD-FOILED 😍😍😍 i think the size and foil is similar to the Ethereal Visions deck ☺️
If you want pretty tarot and magic themed stickers, I can recommend the Wicca Sticker Book, really high quality book, loads of stickers, it hit that dopamine spot.
I have been using stickers about 1 inch by 1/2 inch for my daily three card draw for about 2 years, so if you love this deck you might love stickers. My stickers are all RWS.
The past lives Oracle I think you were talking about that is circular with the added layers on the outside rim is Mandy Petersen’s (Mystic Mandy) “Uncover Your Past Lives Oracle.” It’s a gem for past life work or even shadow work, depending on how you use them.
Not mentioned in the video but Out of Hand tarot pocket edition by Jamie Sawyer is funding on kickstarter now! It’s got six days to go and is already fully funded. The full size version is out of print and I was gutted when I saw this deck for the first time a couple weeks ago. Seeing that there’s a kickstarter for the pocket size felt like fate!
That's an interesting interpretation. I thought it referred to the "monkey on your back" like the things that are carrying with you and influencing you without you realizing it
57:11 So according to Google, Knockers or Sasquatch knocking sticks are sticks or branches used by Sasquatch in the way of creating noice by knocking or hitting trees or other objects 😂
I own a pole dance studio, and I want to buy that deck just because, but I’m not a fan of photography decks. However, I’ve been sharing this all over the pole community to try and get it funded!
Darn. I’m a little disappointed. I have the everything you do is magic deck and book waiting for Aug 6 release. I’m disappointed with the artwork. It should be spell jars and falling stars, colorful unicorns. Crystals. Black and white and purple, teal, royal blue, aqua. Black cat. That’s what I was hoping for. I like the box and backs. I just need to fall in love with a few of the cards to buy it. I hope the imaging is better that it seems here.
I am very excited about the Earth Song oracle, I have been waiting for a it since end of 2023. I don't mind the 36 cards, quality comes before quantity. 😊 I often have to remove cards from oracles that are either in their essence repetitive or too out there on esoteric stuff or for some other reason, so I usually end up with less cards anyway. The writings on the cards I find helpful, it prevents me from over thinking the titles. Apart from that one I am interested in the Lessons from the Liminal Space but I don't think you showed it. The rest of the decks is kind of meh, I have more I am interested in coming out in September.
I can't do the turned pentacle. I try. I do. I have a deck that I really like, but the turned pentacle in that deck bothers me so it stays in the box. I'll probably give it a way. To turn the pentacle for what seems to me to be shock value bothers me. It's my issue, but I just can't do it.
I was kinda excited about the Choose Your Own Adventure Tarot until I saw the inner line border. WTF?!?! It is SO confining, it's literally making me feel claustrophobic as I look at the card images. Bad formatting... Bummer... Mind that Monkey makes me think of monkey mind chatter, can't get your brain to shut up. I'm WAY more interested in Fandom Oracle decks than Tarot decks. To go along with the Tarot of the Unexplained, there's an Oracle coming out in October called the Extraterrestrial Oracle! Could be a super interesting pairing!! Sasquatchs will use big sticks to knock/pound against trees supposedly to communicate by sound. It's called tree knocking.
Also! The creator of Tarot of the Divine has at least one post on Instagram showing a few examples of the pages from the new sticker book, for whoever wants to get a better idea.

That's what I'm saying too girl, I'm so excited 🎉❤

Saskwatch uses sticks to bang on trees and communicate with each other.
Sassysquatch
the lennox/ivyly tarot deck is peculiar pathways!✨
Can't wait for the call of the Morrigan deck. It will pair perfectly with the sidhe tarot
Elemental heights does have art book available as add on. So glad you gave this a spotlight and I’m hoping it can get the attention it deserves to become fully funded on kickstarter
I'm enjoy watching this video is so fun ,😆 not buying anything but making a list...
"Dani (shakes head in disapproval), the organza though." "No" "Yes" "No. Parachutes in summer" . . . LOL hysterical. I already pre-ordered the Morrigan oracle -- the art looks amazing!
The Morrigan is Bridgids Mother, is that right?
I ordered the Game of Thrones & House of the Dragon: Women of Westeros Oracle. I read the books before the show came out and am a huge fan, so it was a must. As I type! What the hell is this freakin' cute deck!!!! Will not buy, will not buy LOL!
1:06:01 I’m pretty sure they will have foiled details, but I believe it won’t be matte foiling like the Indie copy that Dani showed.
I can’t believe Mythological Fennica went mass market!
I definitely need to see more of the Tarot of the Divine sticker situation. I love that deck. I might also have to keep an eye on the Tarot Gallimaufry. It’s beautiful.
I was excited about the Call of the Morrigan, but the art doesn't appeal to me personally.
YESSSS that's the one I asked to see (: I cannot wait. Art or no art, it's Stephanie Woodfield, so I feel the messages are on point for the Morrigans energy ❤
1:04:29 Yes. They will have the foiling on the cards 😊

Loved this - thanks ladies! 💕💕
50:42 OMG, I don’t need another cat deck, but this is so cute 🫣
How did I not hear you say “Malibu & Coke” when you took a sip of your drink 😂😂😂
30:42 I’m so excited to get this!!! 😍 The artwork looks amazing
The round past life deck Lisa may be talking about is the Uncover Your Past Lives Oracle by Mandy Peterson. Mandy did the Healers of the Earth Oracle.
I think it is! Its very good for personal past life readings
About the streaming services, always remember the public libraries typically have tons of movies and series to rent
Damien Echols Sigil deck on Kickstarter 🔥🔥🔥
1:06:33 soooo US Games just posted a sneak peek of this deck and it IS in fact!! GOLD-FOILED 😍😍😍 i think the size and foil is similar to the Ethereal Visions deck ☺️
57:00 I’m laughing so hard at this convo 😂😂😂😂 Can’t wait to get this deck though 😂
Adding the supernatural deck to my cart 😊
If you want pretty tarot and magic themed stickers, I can recommend the Wicca Sticker Book, really high quality book, loads of stickers, it hit that dopamine spot.

20:08 Love that Ace of pentacles though 😍
I kind of like this, oops 😂🤭
I just got Wisdom of the Wild Things Oracle also it is such a cute deck ,getting to know the little creatures.
House of Dragon is on Prime Video .
40:35 I really want this to pair with her Earth Woman Tarot. 😍
The past lives Oracle I think you were talking about that is circular with the added layers on the outside rim is Mandy Petersen’s (Mystic Mandy) “Uncover Your Past Lives Oracle.” It’s a gem for past life work or even shadow work, depending on how you use them.
Could you post a link I’m interested in looking into this deck.
38:19 Yeah, previously Indie and picked up by Rockpool 😊
The Modern Goth has 54 minor arcana (their typo)… which two are missing. 😂
Y’all are fun. ✌️
Thank you! ❤
So want the Mythologica I have the original the new one has the titles numbered and English titles (I think) so getting and the women of Westeros😍
Uncover your past Life Oracle by Mandy Peterson love that deck!
Not mentioned in the video but Out of Hand tarot pocket edition by Jamie Sawyer is funding on kickstarter now! It’s got six days to go and is already fully funded. mind that monkey card could refer to the expression "monkey mind" (restlessness, loss of control on your thoughts)!
That's an interesting interpretation. I thought it referred to the "monkey on your back" like the things that are carrying with you and influencing you without you realizing it
1:03:16 Yogic path oracle 😍 Love that one
You guys made it...one deck...you're good! Sybil deck is not for me. Too much...the Soul cards are at my limit LOL!
57:11 So according to Google, Knockers or Sasquatch knocking sticks are sticks or branches used by Sasquatch in the way of creating noice by knocking or hitting trees or other objects 😂
12:14 This was my exact question too 😂 I was thinking that maybe the adventure is in the guidebook? But idk that 💯
I own a pole dance studio, and I want to buy that deck just because, but I’m not a fan of photography decks. However, I’ve been sharing this all over the pole community to try and get it funded!
I think you were thinking of Uncover your past lives oracle, it is a round deck? Agree though they are all too specific...sound cool but don't work 😞
that earth song tarot... love the art.. weighing the price, number of cards, and the leading info... :-(
bridgerton...not worth getting a specific service just for that.
Darn. I’m a little disappointed. I have the everything you do is magic deck and book waiting for Aug 6 release. I’m disappointed with the artwork. Gothmancy has a song per card 🎶🧛♀️
I feel like trying to put fandoms into Tarot just often feels forced.
For Earth Song Oracle, sometimes all the nAk3d bewbs feels gratuitous. I don't need that in all the feminine decks. Also not into the limited color palate.
And Rockpool needs to get with it and do their Oracle decks with MORE CARDS.
Thank you for making my evening medicine dose slightly more palatable
Nite, nite ladies
The creator of the Earth Song Oracle also put out a tarot recently called Earth Woman Tarot!
Also! The creator of Tarot of the Divine has at least one post on Instagram showing a few examples of the pages from the new sticker book, for whoever wants to get a better idea.
