Nothing beats that trail therapy! Crazy how a ride can completely turn around my attitude. I feel like it definitely helps me clear my head and be a better dad, husband, coworker, etc
@mtb_corbin I wish man! Most of our trails get officially closed down in Wenatchee area on December 1st for the winter. Too much snow, plus our soil doesn’t ride very well when wet and it gets slick and rutted. I’ll be making some trips west this winter to get some rainy winter riding in
Seth, form the bike hacks, did a little video on the mental health benefits of mountain biking I never really thought about it like that, only knowing my soul was happiest when on my bike. Weather riding through the words on my hardtail or racing bmx, the only thing I think about is the riding. No trauma, no drama, no life BS. Keep these videos coming!
I've been fully immersed in rock climbing therapy after Tuesday, but with a brief break in the Seattle weather, I need to get out my bike and hit the local trails. Thanks for the inspiration.
Mountain biking is always therapy for me. I can't remember a single time I have regretted going out for a ride or still having any brain fog when I come back home. The problem comes when I have long periods where I can't get out for a ride and all that tension builds up with no release in sight.
I went through a several month bout of depression earlier this year. Almost a year off the bike. Rode 3 days in a row this week. Forgot how much I missed just being up in the hills.
First of all, sick riding! :D Sucks to read in the comments tho that you've been feeling down. :/ I am sure that you have friends and family to talk to if you need it but if you ever want or need someone to listen (although I may just be a random Swedish guy) then I am always up for it
@@MTB_Corbin Ye it's a big deal in Europe too so I can't imagine how it was in the states. 😅 Glad to hear that it feels better tho, hope it continues ☺
ahh man I'm sorry to hear that. Happens to me too, somedays I just don't feel like riding or making a video feels like a ton of effort to commentate and put together a story
Whole ride was about 5.5k feet elevation gain. Took me about 3 hours with breaks. Trails are amazing but there's no easy way to lap them and you have to talk park pretty far from the ending/start
Man that first trail looks so fun! Gotta hit that next time. Nice riding. 🤘 And very zen for sure. 🪷
Beaver Moon is sick!

Can you ride year round where you're at??

It's so true, really is hard to think about anything else when descending... although there's plenty of time on the climbs haha
@@MTB_Corbinoh yeah… the climbs😭😂
Did the same thing Wednesday and rode. Awesome riding!
Maybe you can show me these sometime, they look like awesome trails.
Heck yeah! Was that the night ride on Wednesday?
These trails are beyond cool. Definitely a spot for the fuel exe (plus range extender lol)

Rock climbing is cool! Bouldering?
@@MTB_Corbin I boulder, but mostly do bigger roped routes.

That's awesome to hear!
hard to worry about anything else when your going straight down steep rock slab (3:37).
100% accurate lol that's why I went so slow the slab before, had to test the grip before my mind went blank haha
I need to get out to Port Angeles to ride with you!
It's so good! Zoo Loops and Dry hill are amazing. I tried convincing Katie we should move there lol

nice! Glad to hear you're back on the bicycle
Did the same today at port gamble.
Heck yeah, which trails you ride?
@ pretty much everything! Haha! Good mix of cross country and I love all the new technical downhill lines
Yeah, that zone has blown up since I first started riding there. Good stuff out in PA.
Really good stuff, you ride dry hill too?
@ oh yes. Used to build out there.

Thanks man! Election was a wild time in the states but a good bike ride on some amazing trails definitely helps!

Tried riding yesterday. Felt nothing. Felt frivolous. Called it early.

@ where did you park/begin starting?
