- Street food fit for a Pope, King or Gladiator! On a budget or a billionaire. We visit several of Rome's most popular street foods where locals eat. Suppli are sold all over Rome but the ones we tried at Suppli Roma in Trastevere were the best we have ever had. We explore so many great street foods in this video. We also tried taglio pizza, Trapizzino, pensa pizza, panini, calzone, open market. Rome has the best street food in the world in my opinion. There is so much more street food to explore in Rome in coming videos. Street food in Rome is not only economical but it is equally delicious! We explore the street food scene of Trastevere, Prati, Campo dei Fiori and so much more. If you are on a budget while in Rome, you can still eat very well for under 20 euros a day when eating mainly street food. We hope you enjoy the video!

In the Trastevere neighborhood there is Suppli Rome next to the Conad grocery store. They sell suppli all over but none are close to being as good as these, at least none that I have tried. They are alway fresh and at times lines can be long. Usually get in in less than 5 minutes. Closed on Sundays

Let’s be clear, a trapizzino is not some iconic street food. Most Italians consider it to be junk food for tourists.
It’s inexpensive, it’s interesting and while it’s not traditional I see a lot of Italians eating it. It is presenting traditional Italian flavors in a new way.. Thanks for watching

Junk food is McDonald’s, Burger King, Taco Bell. I don’t think this qualifies. It may not be to your liking, but I certainly think it has a place in a video about street food of Rome. It’s actually quite good street food
@@RozierRoma, I said that Romans consider it to be “junk food”. Maybe foreigners consider it to be good, but this is the kind of thing you eat quickly with a beer or after going out to a party.
