I've used this for my One Man band act for the past year or so. I replaced the Bose L1 System II with this and it sounds louder, very clear and requires much less gear to set up.
It's louder with more punch and a faster setup than the Bose. I do miss the Bose subwoofer being beneath my ears. However, the lower cost, portability and punch of the L2t is very tough to beat!
Gary Jennings Hi Gary, I've been comparing the L3t to the Bose L1 Compact. I want to run my MP3 player in it with backing tracks and play popular instrumental pieces (Santana, Gypsy Kings etc..) while using the HD500 for the guitar. Is one speaker good enough to do gigs with?
Thats a really cool piece of kit, the only downer is the vst sounds fake (but its still better than the quack I suppose). Overall very good job line 6, does it have an extension cab powered speaker?
I love my qsc k12 but I wish I had one of these. I use the k12 with my Hd 500 and Variax and it's great. This thing just has so much more. I want it now!
would it be a good choice for electric guitar? I would like to buy one unit where I can play electric guitar and sing vocal, I would appreciate any suggestions.
Arpan saha best bet is to have a separate amp for electric guitar. Small tube amps are great. Love the Vox AC10 and the Fender Vaporizer. Both have great clean tones, reverb, and pretty cool overdrive
how many instruments and or mics can you plugged into it ? does it have a horn and tweeter n the speaker system ? what size speaker , sorry if i missed any of this info in your demo. thank you
There is an input for an external music source. Sadly, Apple has decided that none of their modern devices will have an output for such things... Bluetooth!
I try to understand why the use of the term 'singer-songwiter' when, as I see it, 'solo performer' would be a more adequate way to put it, since no one is 'songwriting' while performing. Anyway I consider myself one of them; I entertain crowds at relatively small venues and sometimes at larger ones like weddings at bigger halls. However instead of guitar I use a keyboard with automatic rythms and sometimes a drum machine when some of the rythms I need are not available on the keyboard. Therefore I need at least 4 channels for keyboard, drum machine, my mic and an extra mic, in case anyone wants to speak to the crowd or duet with me. I carry a Mackie 8 channel mixer because speakers like this one have only from one to 3 channels. Since systems like this one are designed for guitar players they often lack the extra punch I need for the bass of the keyboard and/or for the bass drum coming from the rythms. I am Puerto Rican so my repertoire includes latino dance music which require that 'punch' I mentioned before. This system looks like something I could use, but, in terms of power I'm not sure if it is enough for what I need. By the way, congratulations and thank you for your 1-derful presentation. Although English is not my first language I was able to understand every word you said, no captions needed, your pronunciation was great. Blessings from San Juan PR.
Man, you have a great voice.. Your playing is killer too..

Guitar Made Simpler Do you like the sound better though?

That first speaker was bad ass sounding....
Didn't know Sean Halley could sing, I'm impressed!
Almost, almost perfect piece of gear. To make it perfect, add two channel compressors and/or a master compressor please.
I went to Long and McQuade yesterday and found this little gem. I was totally blowen away!
try the fishman 300x, far superior
I went with the L3t and I love it!

Greg Russell I would say one would be plenty unless the venue is huge. Good luck.

What is the Microphone you used for vocal.
are you able to hear yourself perform with standing beside or slightly behind it or do you still need a monitor?
