I reazlied this last night. Jumsuit, Nico and the Niners, and Levitateare connected by music and visual..... Its the same for Overcompensate, Navigating and Next Semester. Jumsuit (track 1) video leads into Nico and the Niners (track 9) which then leads into Levitate (track 2). For Clancy, its Overcompensate (track 1) which leads into Navigating by the video, (track 9) which then by audio, leads into Next Semester (track 2) ITS THE SAMMMEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Track 1 to 9 to 2. Im super smart... I legit don't know why no one is talking about this

I personally have a theory that there could be a Clancy (Red) and Clancy (Yellow) album. Red being a bad ending to Paladin Strait and Yellow is a good ending. (Red might even sound more like blurryface while Yellow sounds more like trench.)
12:19- At 1:43 and 2:14 in the Routines In The Night mv you can see a bishop standing behind josh in the empty room while he's drumming, I wonder what that's about...
fun fact, the usual sample played in movies for eagles is actually from hawks. eagles don't sound like that at all, in fact they have a very screechy sounding calling. i guess people didn't like that because they have associated the bird with all these human nonsense of power and nationalism and whatnot so they decided to use a different, more "cool sounding " voice, for the bird. great videos btw, i have only recently (like a year or so) discovered this band and felt really connected to the mental health struggle topics. i watched your videos about the lore and they helped me understand everything easily without having to dive in endless reddit threads. you are very good at articulating all this! great characteristic for a future psychologist.
22:03- from what i've gathered from the livestream and theories floating around is that every josh we've seen since levitate up until now has not been the real him, which explains why he was able to play during SAI without being under their grasp or why sally sacarver was saying "where are you, josh?? Come out here". Tyler/Clancy has been all alone since levitate. The torchbearer "has the ability to guide" is what Tyler said in the stream (which did NOT explain anything) but what i'm getting is that the torchbearer is able to project a hallucination/ghost version of himself to help others on their journey through trench and Dema.

You touch on so many points I had feelings about but was not seeing discussed in other reviews. Like the call backs running through the lyrics or the MV to past songs. ‘Tape my eyes open’ check ☑️ (Routines/ Tear in my Heart) light in the eyes making him squint? ☑️(Midwest / Ride) Sahlo Folina ☑️ (Overcompensate/ Bandito)And way too many to mention. The mood of this album really shows us how he Tyler was feeling about SAI as he was writing this. His hurt/sadness/disappointment/little bit of anger(Im angry, I’m a little bit angry) really flows through so many of the tracks. The more I’ve listened to it, the more cohesive the album feels. Not for ending the lore but for telling us what he has been going through. I really appreciate this review. You put a lot of thought and care into this and it shows. Thank you 🫶🏻
seeing the Navigating MV made me remember of something so obvious... before we got the my blood mv (which i always thought that was somehow connected to the story) what had happen? tyler was dragged back to Dema by Nico, alone. we never got any clue or any scene in a mv that showed us that Josh was captured too... even in the sai era, when the livestream happened, tyler is being interviewed by himself, after what happens in Levitate, we only see Josh when they're performing the music. So, it makes sense that Tyler/Clancy made this whole journey since then all alone and imagined josh there so he wouldn't feel so demotivated. literally what the boys said that this whole story is about... it's about saving yourself and being saved by a friend. and i just love this album so much... i don't believe it's the end but i also don't believe there's going to be a double album. maybe we'll see the final battle at the Paladin Strait's MV or even at the Clancy Tour
21:25 i think i saw someone say that, in an interview, tyler said the next semester mv starts with a song he doesn't think the crowd is into, and that's why he's visibly anxious during the video because he really wants the audience to like next semester. it could just be a joke bc tyler doesn't like navigating that much, but idk. i don't have a source i just heard this somewhere

I also had to analyze a song for my final. I decided to pick backslide because I felt a deeper connection with that song. I learned a lot about the lyrics and analyzing the music video helped me understand the song a lot more. I wish I could have wrote more but we were limited to a few paragraphs.

Ok so, you asked why there are two Joshes and iirc, Tyler explained in the live stream that Torchbearer Josh has an ability to project himself elsewhere. So in Navigating, he wasn't physically with Tyler/Clancy, but he was projecting his form to guide him to his physical form. To "navigate" him, if you will XD It is SO freaking cool though to reference My Blood (um and Forest Fic?? Prolly not, but still haha) in the song/story. The easter eggs killllll meeeeee!!!! I'm super curious what else they might do with Torchbearer Josh's ability though!
i figured it would be an “open ended” ending since there really isn’t a pretty way to tie up a story that parallels mental health. the self journey is constant, always up and down. but tyler keeps bringing up this “final battle” that i feel like wasn’t there.
Paladin Strait is a lovely song (in the vein of Leave the City). I was definitely hoping for an epic battle song to bookend the heavy beat & awesome intro of Overcompensate. Hope we get more in an extended MV beyond the ‘Hello Clancy’. I agree (as someone above said) that it will be Clancy looking into the face of Nico/Blurry except that he himself will be reflected. As he is in fact comprised of all those characters. Based on the lyrics of Paladin I think at the very end of the battle all the Ned’s will be the ones waiting for Clancy /Tyler on the shores of Voldsoy when he makes it back from DEMA across the Strait. 🙅🏽♀️
I feel like there could possibly be an extra song or maybe a couple of extra songs to finish up the album I don't know if we're going to get another album exactly but if we do I feel like there will be a lot more added to the story
The bandito torchbearer is the only real torchbearer. The torchbearer has a power where he can project himself. So the torchbearer we see in Dema and Voldsoy are not real, just projections. So Clancy had been alone since the end of Levitate. Now in Navigating he has finally reunited with the banditos and the real torchbearer. Hence why we saw two Joshes in this video.
Theres most DEFINITELY more, im willing to bet the teaser/trailer comes after the end of paladin strait similar to how they did the "official video out early june"

It was a vulture screech it was very well mixed It took me a while to realize it but on like my second or third listen of the music video it very much sounded like a vulture to me I could be wrong
for me sai was never comparable to any usual pop album that launched around it. its just that twenty one pilots sound that completely sets it apart. i hope they do a similar one at some point.

so a couple of things. this could be talking about defeating blurryface, and getting rid of those negative feelings. but a couple times in the lyrics he brings up how he thinks he’s hurting his relationships with people. he thinks constantly losing progress will make people give up on him. (even though that isn’t true at all. ) in my own opinion, i interpreted this as if he feels he’s pushing people away, he ought to feel better on his own. if he has no support system left, he saying he ought to feel better so he doesn’t need them. but, that’s just my own thoughts.

Sooooo many levels and interpretations.

I think he meant 3 VIDEOS would be lore related. The story itself is In several songs
considering how big music videos are in telling the story, that’s still a bit strange to me
