did u really need light bulbs with a resistor? most of these guys dont sell with the resistor. Is it necessary for older vehicle like mine? 2001 toyota sequoia
I got a set of new LED Light for my SignalLight, HeadLight, CornerLight, FogLight, & A HB4 9006 Resistor Kit For my FogLight But Problem Is After Installing All Of Them The FogLight Still wouldn’t Turn On.. Any suggestion??
I have an 05 tundra sr5 no stock fog light...can i do same install with aftermarket foglight with out have to run a switch and just tap in to healights?
@@munnday86 I have the fog lamp switch on my steering wheel and when i turned the regular beams and fog lamps, it worked. It does not come on when u use high beams.
Yes, that's how the OEM system works. BUT switching to LEDs, the amp load is lower, so it makes the system act weird. Probably could have just added "Raptor" style lights to the headlight wiring and kept the fog lights as they were.
Now all you need to do is change your turn signal bulbs and replace them with led switchback bulbs. I have a 2006 Sequoia and I replaced all my bulbs with led bulbs....
Attempted this and not sure if I did something wrong. I installed the headlights and fog lights and they both turn on and I tired to but the red wire to the head light to the fog lights and my fog lights don’t turn on at all not sure what I did wrong
Go to 7:25 in the video I explain how to run a jumper wire from the driver headlight to the foglight. This is a common issue with a simple fix I tested it out and works great. Let me know if that helps.

on the light control on your steering wheel there is a little ring, if you twist it it turns on the fogs. No need to t tap it its just probably switched off
Hello, I have installed mine but I am having an issue but not with fog light it is with the headlight stays on all the time the car is running, I CANT TURN THEM OFF UNLESS I SHOUT DOWN THE CAR. Any thoughts?
if you are talking about your daytime running lights, there is a plug beside the battery, it would be best to unplug and nudge/remove the battery to the side for excess room to unplug your day time running lights.
I watched a couple LED install videos and people are fine with not having fog lights. I run headlights and foglights all the time and didnt want to lose the foglights. So a simple jumper wire fixed it.
Hey Mr. led, here in CA it is against the law to have your high beams on the same time as the fog lights. They are meant to work on low beam only. Did you try your fog lights on low beam?
Understood. The leds are really bright I see no need to run the high beams. I have seen a bunch of videos and it looks like you have to wire in a resistor to the LED headlight to have the fog light operations back. Once again I will not use the high beam.
Hey buddy....several states have laws that make it illegal to run fog lights and headlights on together. Here in my state you will get a ticket driving with both on. And as part of the ticket you will be required to show that your fog lights have been corrected to comply with state law. There is an exemption for off road lights but they must be covered while driving on state roads.

I did the fog light wire mod to make them work. Jumper wire

If you installed the lights and they both headlights and foglights work. There is no need for the jumper wire to the foglights.

Just put a load resistor on the passenger side led headlight. You will regain all functions. High beam indicator and fog light functions.
