    This is the first tutorial for me which shows the strength of Massive X. I think I have to revise my judgment about Massive X.

      Rishabh is an amazing instructor and musician. His sound design skills are on point!

      Yeah, the synth is not trying to be the craziest modular versatile synth on the market. Kilohearts already did that with Phase Plant. It's more trying to simply be a good sounding synth with some unique features that give it it's own identity.

      _I know what you mean. I'm "pretty much" a whiz on synths but Massive X is giving me a bit of trouble to start_

    Video should start with the Completed sound....then say....Here's how to make it. Have to forward to the end to even see if its something you want to learn to make. Love the Videos!

    Somehow late to the party but glad to find some other folks who like Mx and really know their ways around that awesome sounding synth. Subbed.

    What is your personal opinion of Massive X vs Pigments 2 vs Serum for sound design?

    • @rishabhrajan
      @rishabhrajan  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      JamieBlak I have used them all and they are all fantastic synths with minor pros and cons. The best part about Massive is it’s semi-modular routing capabilities which none of the others have.

    By changing LFO4 to Uni, you also reduced the pulse width on the third oscillator. That's probably why it sounds a lot fuller afterwards.

    why u like to put chorus after the reverb?

    • @rishabhrajan
      @rishabhrajan  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jacob Geyer there’s no right or wrong but technically it makes more sense to place the reverb as the last effect in the chain. Doing it the other way around messes with the reverberated sound and is just a different sound I like. Another example is placing distortion after reverb. Check out Daft Punk - Derezzed for a good example of this.

    If you use Mac and Ableton10, don't buy it.
    Using only one waveform will use 20% of the CPU.
