    I continue to be impressed with the BS5 speakers. The more I listen to them the more I like them.

    Bought these 3 weeks ago on a Harman Kardon 730 twin power,
    and I am a hip hop spirit to my name. These are magnificent!
    I've ordered 2 more pair for my living room where my preamp (Denon 510BT tag team champing with a HK3490 for the rears and add to the fronts.
    Excellent quality, you know why? BECAUSE THEY CAN HANDLE HIP HOP!! IF a speaker can handle hip hop, it can handle anything! Factz!

    I recently bought the Neumi B5s to use as my L/R channel and the C5 as my center. I am pretty happy with the setup so far.

    Bought these Dec 2021. Perfect. Bass drum thumping. Great clarity and treble! Tried Micca MB42X first. Hated sending them back. Just not enough thump.

    I bought these for a 2.1 home theater system paired with a Klipsch R-120SW and Fosi ZD3 DAC + ZA3 amp via XLR. I'm waiting on the ZA3 amp to actually test the speakers so I hope they'll work for me. The room is 20 ft by 12 ft and we sit about 10 feet from the speakers and TV. Fingers crossed that these work out.

    I'm really enjoying the BS5 speakers. They are a well behaved all around great value speaker. Perhaps less exciting in the upper range, but I can adjust the EQ to suit my taste. Also, less fatigue than the speakers I was using. I think the build quality is nice too. Very happy with the purchase.

    Decided to order a pair of these using your affiliate link. I intend to place them against a wall. Will let you know how this works out with my Sony AVR. Greatly appreciate your channel.

      How's it working out? I'm considering getting some BS5's to go up against the wall due to the layout of my room.

    I just purchased the BS5's and paired them with the CS5 center channel (with 4ea surrounds and a Sony 12 powered sub). I'm 100% happy with them so far, the warm not harsh clarity throughout the volume levels is very impressive. If you haven't already, may I suggest doing a review of the CS5 in conjunction with the BS5's? I am so impressed with the combo. I used to have a Polk CSI3 (& RTi8's) center and this CS5 projects even better. So clear! I cant believe what they can do with technology vrs 15-17 years ago. Not to mention at a fraction of the cost.

      @OHMAudioChannel  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Appreciate the comment. I do in fact have a review of the CS5 on my channel. I do make mention of how well it pairs with the BS5, which they aren’t perfectly matched but do blend well, especially at their given asking price.

    I had a pair of Ohm speakers as a teenager back in the 80’s.
    I don’t remember whatever happened to them, but boy did I love them.
    Ohm …. Ahemmm.
    By the way , neutral is good !

    These are 267 euros on the UK Amazon that's $290 you can get a pair of Qacoustics 3030i for that whats your opinion

    • @OHMAudioChannel
      @OHMAudioChannel  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have't heard the Q Acoustics to say for sure, but at that price they would make sense over the
      Neumi.

    I have a modest 5.2 surround in my living room with .75- inch tweeters and 3-inch woofers in the satellite speakers. My AVR is made by SONY and has about 145 watts per channel. Would this be a nice upgrade to my front L/R channels? I think you did this with your home cinema.

    • @OHMAudioChannel
      @OHMAudioChannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      With the larger woofers, you'll have more output capability which likely give you a more natural and less strained sound. Sony AVRs tend to have more "lively" or "dynamic" sound which could pair well with the Neumi's.

    My bookshelf set Boston acoustics died a few years back my dad got me in 2001. He was an audio nerd and spent hours driving around St Louis with his own cd picking them out and listening to them.
    They had a good run. They were used and abused in college played way too loud way too often an were great. Later they were worked into our home theater. Any recommendations to replace them? Now days it’s just a nice sound bar/sub for tv and games because it’s easy.
    So it would just be for the basement or garage for me to listen to while I work on hobbies etc ? Some day I dream of doing more for the living room but when the 5.1 receiver and speakers both bit the dust sound bar was so easy... I’d have to run new wires hdmi upgrade and ew. Enjoy the channel!

      Soundboard are super convenient but often can’t match the sound and spaciousness you get from a dedicated speaker system. There are many good options out there. Tough to recommend something with out knowing a budget.

      @@OHMAudioChannel micca rb42 vs bs5. roughly same price point verdict?

    • @OHMAudioChannel
      @OHMAudioChannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@iggypopisgod9 hard to say as I haven’t been able to hear the RB42. General conscience is the RB42 has a bit of a elevated bass and treble which may or may not be to your liking.
