- Meet Lauge, farming on a 1,200 jersey and holstein herd farm in Denmark, he takes extreme pride in looking after his cows to the highest degree. To Lauge the feeding is the most important thing to get right! Lauge has completely transformed this farms feeding system from when he joined the farm. Cows want the same feed, yesterday, today and tomorrow. So Lauge developed a system that allows the cows to get exactly what they want!

I feed my 10,000 cows Total Mixed Ration every single day at my farm on Elm Creek.

This video has a few HUGE problems:
1) the prize of the milk its not the same everywhere, even inside the same countrie its diferent.
2) the weather its FUCKING important, you can live in a "wet" countrie, but if.you live in France or Spain you dont have fresh grass during summer.
3)i dont have this system at all, my cows are not Jerseys, in fact they are FRISONAS, and they have around 4'15 and 3'50 all over the year, even top un november to 4'30 and 3'70, so ?

So you never buy anything from the store? You grow all you food? How do you think food for millions of people are made? These cows go outside half the year, and walk around freely. They even get fresh grass! This is one of the better farms of this size I have ever seen, sure some huge farms are just corporations, but this one is great.
