At 70 yrs old I have to pick the nice days here in western Massachusetts. My 11' glx pin rod and 4" Angling spec is ready to go for trout up to 26". At my age I'll take any float down available. I do fish Lake Ontario tribs when I can but those are few and far between these days. Thanks, JZ

@ 5:20 you never want to point your rod at the fish keep that rod bent man lol straight rod puts all the stress on the line and not the rod absorbing it.
Definitely will do a better job teaching lol I was just in aw how pretty the fish was lol
@@obsessedanglingtv5723one other tip. Always be trying to "turn" the fish, instead of dragging straight upstream. Flip your rod to the left or right... Side pressure. If the fish is headed right, flip rod to the left and vice versa.. you can usually get the fish to swim upstream to you too some degree, instead of it using the current against you. Changing the fishes direction tires them out. Particularly on long runs... Flip left and right to apply different side pressure.. guide the head like it's a halter on a horse.
@@ryans9029 We had to stayed anchored for that fish because we had a log jam on our left and right of the river so we decided it was best to take our chance and dog him slowly upstream! Appreciate the tips tho guys!
