Keep up the good work. The steelhead fishing has been tough out here in Southern Oregon too. Most of the rivers have been blown out for the last month. We have to fish in 8-10 thousand FPS water. Only plunking out here.

I love catching Sttelhead I slush. I just love feeling the line cut through the slush while those Steel head shake hard. Only unfortunate part is the fish don’t fight that hard in the freezing water. Great day out!

I was thinking the same about that first steelhead, it looked like a spawning coho until I saw the gill plate and the tail.
