Another fine video showcasing excellence in Amateur Radio citizenship and Amateur Radio Achievement 😊😊😊😊😊😊
After Katrina MN Native American casinos became a sister casino to one destroyed on the gulf coast. We gave their employees temporary jobs, found them housing(I had 2 people stay with me for 6 months) and helped them get back on their feet by sending our old slot machines to them to help rebuild and get cash flow so they could replace them with newer. We sent teams to help them clean up damage, gut homes of their employees and others in the community so they could rebuild... our sister casino was back on its feet in 6 months in a temporary location as they built a new boat. It was a sad time but also memorable as we shared cultures(I was exposed to REAL cajun cooking! They got exposed to MN freshwater fishing and eating!)
I was in Biloxi, MS in October 1969,
at Keesler Air Force Base, just 2
months after Hurricane hit the area,
which was bad enough but I know
Katrina was years later. 😮
Great info, Thanks
