Curious if you had considered a Duo card in a thunderbolt pcie enclosure and Pro Presenter as an alternative and if so what swayed you to the BM USM4K?
That is what I used but Im currently looking for a more compact solution to fit in my rack case. egpu box is huge and not convenient at all. So just to be clear, the 4k ultra studio mini box outputs via thunderbolt 3 also? And its not just a better verson of the old web presenters Thank you
Nice, I've seen that you've changed your mind about the way to connect Propresenter and an Atem switcher? But Haw do you connect a Mac and Utrastudio? Hdmi? a convertion box? Tx for your advice ;-)
You can connect to an ultra studio or deck link duo card (with an enclosure) via thunderbolt 3 USB c cable. Pro presenter is able to recognize the device and output specific content to each available output. You can run multiple different outputs from a single computer. Lower thirds, playback of video and confidence monitor all at once.

Yes, that would be the main reason. Hyperdecks can be difficult with file formats and loading media, especially when they are in use. We use our hyperdecks just for recording mostly.

What if you would like to make they post live edit of the show... Keep the same look and feel.... But maybe make some changes and tweaks... Could you recreate this looking feel for a post edit?
I'm confused. Are you sending 2 feeds from pro presenter (key and Fill) using two outputs? (in which case why not use HDMI outputs from the computer?) Are you using the UltraStudio to create a key from the fill source? (does it have that kind of feature?) Or are you using the UltraStudio because it gives you SDI Outputs?
2 feeds, key and fill Pro presenter can’t output both via 2 hdmi ports unfortunately. Needs an ultra studio or deck link card or NDI etc. using ultra studio for A and B outs via SDI.
perhaps you've already done this, but could you do a video explaining the difference between upstream and downstream keys? I understand layer order is part of it, but consoles usually seem to have some difference in capabilities between the two as well, so there must be something more to it.
