It's just a pitch detector with karaoke. Most midis have the vocals mapped out, so it wouldn't be that hard to implement for many songs. It's just syncing the midi track, pitch detecting, and karaoke seamlessly as one is the hard part. Easier said than done for sure. But I've played some pretty janky vocal games on the ps2, really simple mechanics. "Get on da mic", I bought mainly for the USB mic (different time) and it was on SALE.
It's incredible how just a simple clone of guitar hero ended up as the most well known ways of playing the old guitar hero games. v1.0 looks great and plays better than v0.23 and even the old PTB's. Can't wait to see what the Clone Hero team / StrikeLine team has in store for the future.

I have been playing this game for ages due to the fact Guitar Hero and Rock Band are hard to get, or the guitars go for a price I'm not willing to spend because of how expensive they are second hand...Clone Hero saved me from this issue. I showed my partner this game last year too, and whenever she comes round, we often boot the game up and take turns playing songs. We love it! Thank you so much for all the hard work you've put into creating this beloved game.

Clone hero going for the rockband 5 input drums instead of the GH 6 input drums is in the list of top 10 anime betrayals fr. Hope we get the extra input back in the future.
I wish they could add a versus mode, with the powers of Guitar Hero 3 where you could turn your opponent left-handed or change the color of their notes, it was a lot of fun, and it was cool to be able to fight someone like that. Yes, I miss the Battle Mode from the GH series. It would be nice if they implement this into Clone Hero; you could play against another player or the computer.
I have a suggestion to make: Put the option to put a separate audio track for Guitar Coop. Another thing: doing fast strum in Dualshock mode is very complicated and difficult, try to leave it the same way it was in GH3 PS2, it's the best way
I really hope it's not the final version, there are things that were missing from the game, others are gadgets that would make the game more interesting. I'll list a few in order of importance: • predefined controls for each instrument (2 is not enough, for those who play drums on the keyboard it's boring to keep reconfiguring the keys) • automatic only taps in keys (no point in strum here) • career mode or battle mode • compatibility with PRO instruments

The color profile is dope, but is there any ways to have a color profile that match with the beat? Like red for 4th mesure, blue for 8th, green for 12th, yellow for 16th, etc. DDR does this, and I always found that super cool.

Only thing I really wished was integrated was a leaderboard system, like ScoreSpy. Love Clonehero, so happy to see it all being done over the years.
