When I was 14, my dad (a Ford salesman) took me past a customer's house in Prospect Heights,IL. The customer bought a new factory ordered Ford every couple years, and the next year he was trading in his Canary Yellow 1967 Galaxie 500 (w/ 390 c.i., 4 bbl. carb, factory 4-speed, 2-door, black vinyl top) for a new model Galaxie. My dad told me (at 14) that THAT car in the driveway was what I was gonna buy next year, when he traded it, IF I had a job, and paid for EVERYTHING myself. No handouts! I got the job, saved my $$, and bought the car, and took my driving test in it! The driving examiner was impressed that I could handle the 4-speed, but I'd had about 6 months of practice in our cul-de-sac in Wheeling. Loved the car! A real sleeper. Used to share wins with a buddy that had a brand new 383 Magnum RT (Burnt Orange) Challenger, and I used to beat a buddy with in his blueprinted '67 389 GTO (that drove him nutz!). A Tesla, or this '67? Not a hard choice!
PS Sadly, Larry, the previous owner could only get a 3-speed from the factory on his new car. He was not happy!
It's rare that I see a car than I like but I'd do the od change. This beautiful beast is all there for me. Big ups to the builder(s). That's one very fine Ford. Background musicis cool to.

I was born in 1967, the music’s just fine. I grew up with my parents playing that era all the time. I pretty much inherited it for myself, to the point where I never really paid attention to anything north of the early 80’s, music wise. So pay no attention to the guy who dissed.

Did you move the E-brake handle from being a T-bar under the dash left side, to a pull-up long handle in the console?
I ask because it looks like you’re reaching to your right as you shift into 1st to start driving.
Since it's not stock it would look good with side pipes on it

My dad had one when i was a kid 67 500 with 390 i got to use it when i turned 16 oh i hated that car i wanted a foxbody 5.0 but now im 42 yrs old id love to drive it today
That 67 Fully restored would be more fun than any Foxbody.

Good good, now what's it do in the quarter mile? You build 500hp and don't have a clue 🤣 My 66 Galaxie XL ran best of 13.79 with bad traction with 400hp

Not everybody wants a pure stock car from their past. I think this Galaxie is sweet, but I would prefer a 67 Fairlane GT, but with a 351 Cleveland, overdrive automatic, PS, PDB, AC and Cruise Control. I'll pick the exact shade of blue later. A car is only worth as much as you can get someone to agree to pay.
