The Sabbath will always be an issue to those who chose to worship otherwise. The SDA is a Bible based organization and we will continue to stand on Gods word. Thanks brothers

The Sabbath Stands Alone.
Genesis 2:1-3
This series of verses sets the tone for keeping the Sabbath, and the Sabbath is shown to have universal validity. It is from Creation, not from any of "the fathers," Abraham, Isaac, or Jacob. It is not from Moses. It is not from any Jew (when God ordained it, there were no Jews). The Sabbath is from the Creator God.
Notice, too, that the first two chapters of Genesis clearly establishes that the Sabbath is the seventh day-not a seventh day. This may not be the theological beginning of the Sabbath, yet, without doubt, Exodus 20:11 clearly establishes that the Sabbath has its roots in these three verses. Mark 2:27-28
If a person listens to all these verses and don't understand the sabbath. They are blinded by the enemy. This is so clear.

Gino is SMOOOth... He likes to couch and frame his arguments, and twist and take verses out of context to prove his point.
He will specifically find one or two verses and use them to disregard everything else in the bible you show that goes against his view/doctrine.

Seventh-day Adventist have 27 more fundamental beliefs besides the Sabbath. The reason why we emphasize the 4th Commandment is because this is the only commandment that is ignored. And it will come down between Sabbath vs Sunday that will decide our fate for heaven or hell.
So why did you break the first commandment ?and the 9th!?
The day cannot and will not move and affect the great God stop waisting your time discuss on minor issues. The bigger problem where it matters God is people. The salvation of Christ crucifixion.

I believe keeping the Sabbath is such a big issue purely because it has become inconvenient for man to sacrifice that day. So when it becomes inconvenient, our next best move would be to try our very best to find bible verses that say the Sabbath was done away with. Guarantee you will never find it.
"It becomes inconvenient to sacrifice one day" to sacrifice one day is actually very easy my friend, wish it was that easy, try being holy seven days a week. Putting away the pants, the false hair, short dress and so much more which you guys do. The elderly are even partaking, cut off bleachout hair, tights on the street, fine strap blouse. Bout how I can't wear certain clothes because I am easy to get hot. How will the people hear without a preacher and they preach the sabbath every sabbath but not correcting these things. You don't wear jewelry but have on this big whole ring and gold or silver watch. Skeet is trying but he needs a lot of help.

You are out of context! Read from verse 15,42,43 then come to 44. Paul was teaching about Christ and His resurrection. He did not go there to worship.

The disciples came together "on the first day of the week." The coming together and the breaking of bread was more worship and rest than this...
Acts 17:1-2 (KJV) Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews:
And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,
Acts 17:3 (KJV) Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ.
The reason Paul was in the synagogue reasoning ( disputing, arguing, preaching that Jesus is the Christ, which seems like he had to put in tedious work) with the Jews is because he knew that the Jews would be in the synagogue on the Sabbath.
But when it came to meeting and assembling with the believers ( saints) they came together on the first day of the week to break bread and hear the word of the Lord.
If that's not rest I don't know what is!

I have heard Gino Jennings and some of His teachings, also some of the debates he has had with people on issues and one time over the Sabbath. He believes Jesus broke the sabbath and has no clue what he is saying. He also interrupts and speaks with arrogance, being the louder voice, which usually ends up winning debates. Just believing that Christ broke the sabbath would mean there is no hope for anyone, and we would all be lost. It would mean Christ is not the sinless spotless lamb He claims to be.
Am watching from Malawi. The 7th day is the sabbath of the Lord yesterday, today and for ever, because Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath and because Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. Heb 13 v 8.

Gino is now saying that reasoning with them on the Sabbath was not keeping the Sabbath. That doesn't make any sense at all. He could go to them any day of the week. He was still keeping the Sabbath and so were the Gentiles. The Jerusalem Council also alluded too this.

21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.
This would have been a PERFECT time to state they could and would be expect to start going to church on Sunday or keep Sunday or get rid of the 7th day Sabbath.
If Paul or Jesus went against the Sabbath the Jews would have used that as another reason to go against him and called him a law breaker. It's never mentioned.
P.S. verse 20 is an allusion to the laws that the were expecting the Gentiles to keep. When they mention to keep from things strangled...do you think they were talking about kosher pork? You can eat work, as long as it's not strangled?! And this was the only thing... they were expected to do... it was thought they will go to the synagogues on the Sabbath grow in the faith and learn more of what was required of them as converts to the GOD of Israel.

It was respectful, and just 100% scripture, and Glenna, I pray you will search the scriptures and find your answers for what you believe, be sure that you have a scripture that supports what you believe, and also ensure that you allow the scripture to define your beliefs and not try to find scripture to support your beliefs. JamieEllison . How can Jesus an animate being become a period of time. It is like saying H.Ford who created the car has now become the car which is not very likely nor to anyones benifit. Jesus is the owner and Creator of the Sabbath that He graciously gave us to enjoy for our benifit and so we wouldnt forget Him our Creator which a lot of people have sadly done. By rejecting Gods law or any part of it, we are rejecting the Law Giver and THEN God will send strong delusions to believe a lie.

Jennings is confused about the ceremonial sabbaths.
The offerings and rituals that were performed as part of the annual festivals aren't required anymore, _but the festivals themselves are still obligations_ . The part where SDAs err in their logic is that the weekly Sabbath had sacrificial rites attached to it as well, but they never call it a "ceremonial Sabbath". If they understand that the festival itself is still required, they should know that the same is true for the annual festivals.

Ceremonies in that setting normally requires preparation of a sort of sacrifice which was work. Fundamentally off from the Sabbath instructions. The Bible referred to some of them as Holy Days or the Feast Days where some principles of the Sabbath applied.There is only one Sabbath the one from creation, hence why the 4th commandment starts by saying ‘Remember”. By the way you had some man made feasts which were allowed - like in Esther’s time but it bore little spiritual significance. Deut 16:16 actually indicates that 3 times shall ye appear before me for all generations..etc. which during the old and New Testament we see carried out.
Sabbath is sabbath, they all rests. You try to exonerate the Saturday sabbath for your own appetite. Actually you need to keep all of them.
@@josephkirimi5453 i humbly disagree brother. It was God who made the Sabbath according to Gen 2. The subsequent feasts came long after ( 2000 years after, think of the timeline with Adam, Noah, Abraham etc). Again, as I stated in another comment in this thread, many of the celebratory feasts were man made but bore little significance spiritually, like in Esther’s time or the Feast of trumpets which some ‘Jews ‘ keep presently. Deut 16:16 is the instruction from God pertaining to Feast Days-if you fully believe in the words of God. Finally, I’m not saying that doing all this will make you land in the Holy City,as there are other elements inclusive of how we live on the earth and treat others, but it would certainly require you to do these activities.
I think you should have made a distinction between being holy everyday and keeping everyday holy, the two are not the same.

When the commandment says"... keep it holy..." it means, it's already holy it is not saying make it holy, just like when said "keep change," it doesn'tmean make change because it already is. The rest of the six days were called good not holy. So in order for you to keep everyday holy, everyday has to be made holy

The laws say no work or they would stone you in Moses' time...and that's the sentence for various other offenses...If you worship another god or an idol..it's the same punishment...but Gino would NEVER say that's now okay... They look for something about the Sabbath and take it to the extreme...and if you do that with any other law, they would look bewildered....

zechariah 14:17+ Shows that the feast of Tabernacles will be kept. Whilst I know there is no temple now. But we keep a memorial.
When he read from Romans. Paul kept the feasts even after Jesus ascension. That is my understanding. Shalawam.

Who can say or confirm if Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday is the true Sabbath day? Or can we confirm if the Romans had never changed the calendar that we're using today or are we still following the same calendar of God's chosen people? Find the correct day and all Christian churches must keep that day holy and worship on the same day and enough of that nonsense. " Christ the Lord is the only church and Christ the Lord is the only ticket to heaven".

Having many denominitions observing the sabbath as you do, doesn't mean it's the right way to go. There are many who meet on Sundays but they are not in the light. The only true church is the church of God, any other name is a denominition formed by by individuals. Jesus is our sabbath (rest) and not the seventh day. Our rest is observed every day and on Sundays we meet and not observing the day.
I have a question what if your job requires you to work on the Sabbath. I fully understand that the day of the Lord is Sabbath and with my job search there is always that question are you available to work Sat and Sunday. I tell them that's against my belief So I have to work on Sabbath day not that I won't to how do I get around this especially when it's a new job??
Heb 19:17 means that the ultament sacrifice made, there is no more the slaying of animals, the spilling of blood. Christ is the ultmate sacrfice. Now we have one on one connection with Christ and HE changes us when we accept HIS sacrifice. Nothing else changes. The commandments are still intact. The sacrificial ceremony is done away with, but not the laws of clean living Daniel gives us another clue for diet. Only those that are willing to accept the Word as written, will see the kingdom of heaven and men shall continue to mock those, that understand, to their own destruction.
