Gail Davis was featured in one of my favorite episodes of The Andy Griffith Show. She played "Karen", a cousin of Thelma Lou's who competed against Andy in a Skeet Shoot.

“Grammar Nazi” reporting: We’re almost there (meaning perfect) but the W’s in the names are still being pronounced as V’s. Pronounce the names starting with “W” the same way you pronounce it in “was” or “were” or “way”. In English, when you’re 100% perfect, we call it, “letter perfect”. Get this last little detail corrected, and you will be literally letter perfect!!! Then I won’t have anything to nag you about. But I will be keeping up with you since I am subscribed.👍👏🎉🥳🥰

Trying my best these days though most of the time dedicated to this work is spent on collecting data and voice overs comes last but no doubt its the most important part doesn't matter how good the data is, if the narration is not good it wont work and whenever I'm recording my "Grammar Nazi" instructions are always in my head to some how improve from the previous video. Thank you for keeping check and keeping me motivated so far. ❤️

I am English and I have never heard of, nor used the phrase "letter perfect".

@susanlynch1966 Maybe the phrase isn’t used in England. I’m an American and taught English and college reading according to American usage. The phrases “letter perfect” and “follow(ing) instructions to the letter” are common here.
