    I can't stop thinking about them but I have an unpopular opinion: I don't think they should "end up together" in the traditional sense. Their practical lives would have never intertwined, they couldn't try to be life partners without it failing. I want them to continue what I think of as a passionate friendship. Intensity, attraction, caring and even love is there but it isn't and shouldn't be conflated with "endgame" "happily ever after" and other kinds of hopeless romantic notions. They're kindred spirits on their own separate journeys. I hope their paths convene often.

    • @an-qo6by
      @an-qo6by  2 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      Oh I definitely agree with this! I mean, them actually ending up together doesn't make sense. They are in two different worlds. And I think that's what makes this so well written, whether they planned it or not, I feel like soulmates are people that you sometimes don't end up with. They have such a special, strong, beautiful bond and I think them hooking up was enough for me. This is coming from someone who ships them. One more thing, the writers are clearly talented because they somehow managed to get them to hook up without losing that spark, like most shows end up going through when they do it. They had the same passion at carnegie hall, and I just wonder how they'll be from here. They can't ignore the hook up, I just don't know how they'll talk about it in the show we'll have to see. anyways thanks for coming to my ted talk

    What I loved the most of the season:
    During the whole season it was bugging me this “plan” that she was trying to implement.
    I know it’s a show, but it’s a show trying to represent a specific time and age of society.
    Maybe today in this time an era a comedian like her could have followed that plan, but in the era they are living it was delusional.
    So during the whole season I was fearing they were going to pull something out of the way to give her what she wanted.
    And I am glad that I was wrong.
    Yes, they showed us her trying to make it her way, but writers gave us the best way possible to put her back in the right path (right path for that moment of time).
    And it was perfect that the person telling her was the person who respects her the most as a comedian.
    The season felt too short

    I've seriously dreamed of playing Carnegie Hall. I was a piano soloist! i am not a piano player- as an artist, this scene just shot me to tears. These Legends (well, a dramatized Legend and a composite one) have an argument on stage at CARNEGIE EFFING HALL? So beautiful. That's where Legends hold forum with one another. Like Lenny said, "there's just a really cool Janitor, they don't know we're here!" So amazing. The writers get it. Love this show!
