Thank you for taking us on this journey. I suppose it is a bit frustrating to have never found out what took you down in the first place, especially as it resulted in getting a superbug once you were at the hospital, but I am glad that you are now better.
From what I am able to see, you come out as a person with a lot of strength in you, as well as a loving family and friends. Those are no small thing you should always welcome. After all, you now fully appreciate how valuable they are.

Thank you so so so much for sharing your story. Watching these as they came out had me at the edge of my seat, wondering what would happen next. I can't even imagine being the person in the situation worrying about happen from day to day.
Many blessings that you found solace even in the shadow of darkness.
I am so happy that you recovered and have found a way to live a normal life again! It is inspiring to see people make recoveries, as someone who worked in an emergency department it is very rewarding to hear when a patient fully recovers and can return to their regular life, even if it is a little different than when they first came in.
I wanted, in particular, to admire your virtue of forgiveness towards Dr. S. That couldn't have been easy, particularly when he, a fully trained medical professional, claimed that he did not know what C. diff was! It is common medical knowledge to know what C. diff and is, I was taught about it in undergraduate microbiology classes!
I know that were I to be in your shoes it would be a great test of faith to convict my heart to forgive. Praise be that you have found that forgiveness. I pray that your forgiveness will stir his heart to be a more compassionate and diligent medical provider for the sake of his patients and the community around that hospital.
Recovery can be hard, but keep hope! You have a beautiful story and are a talented storyteller who knows how to draw people into narratives. May your art, writing, family, faith, and life be filled with successes, joys, and blessings.
Thank you so much for sharing

Thank you so much for your message! It made me happy reading it and especially reading that you're in emergency. I know it's super taxiing and also rewarding (what I heard and saw from my mom) and yea a lot of times staff never get to see what happens to a patient once they leave or just generally what happens so I'm glad this could show a bit of life after emergency, even though we never crossed paths (or did we mwahaha😋 ) but thank you for the work you do
and yea med students learn about c diff in their 2nd year, I just think there was a problem that he didn't want to face because I wasn't the first patient in hospital 1 that had the symptoms. I do hope his heart softens and he finds his passion for medicine again
      Thanks again for your message
Hope you have a fantastic day!

Thank you so much for sharing your story! As a fellow South African, who gave birth in a public hospital (emergency c-section), I can resonate with many things in your story. This has made me realize that we are truely never alone... and that there is always a plan for us. Again, Thank you

This story is one of the most meaningful things I’ve ever come across in my life. It has been incredibly helpful in helping me trust God more; sometimes it feels like God is just an idea I cling to and it feels like I’ve been abandoned into the world, but when I hear stories like this, I can’t help but praise God and know that He is with me. Thank you for sharing this story and I’m sure you’ll never know the true impact you’ve had on people

Wow, what a testimony! I'm so sorry for all the physical health issues you have had and the mental health stuff that you've had to deal with just because of one doctor. Romans 8:28 is what I hang onto when I don't understand why God is doing something in my life.

it's ok, I'm alive and I've learnt to live with it, but God is good.
That's a good verse and comforting, through everything He does what is good
