Hey Richard good to see you back👍. Don't worry about people leaving i don't think no one will. It will be interesting to see your plans and what you hope to acheive you could draw up plans and ask for feedback(some will be helpful some will be🤯🤯). Also more weathering and scratch building. Always plenty to do. Anyway good onya mate👍👍.
Hi David! Thanks for the encouragement! I hope that people stay - especially as I'm so close to 500 subscribers! Yeah, any plans and ideas I have will be shared on the channel first before I decide anything. As a novice model railway builder, I appreciate the feedback and help! I have had ideas through the channel I would never have thought of myself! 💡💡😁😎
Thanks for the suggestion! I think (hope) it would be possible and a lot easier given more space... I did want to have 2 levels in my current shed, but the gradient would be far too steep given the size... 👍👍😁
Hi Richard. I too like the idea of separate channels for different interests. I am not so convinced you are going to lose a massive load of subscribers; if they liked what you do enough to subscribe, they will continue to follow you.
Hi Paul! Thanks for the comment and the support!👍👍👍 Hopefully that's the case! It will take time as this channel has, but hoping the new channel will pick up interest too! 😁👍
I would... The missus on the other hand is a different story! Haha! I'd actually be concerned about the track being exposed to the elements and also how the electrics would work if the weather is bad... 💦⚡🔌💥😬😬
Hi Darren! Thanks for the suggestion! It is pretty much set up like that way already, I can lift it out any time without affecting the tracks above! 👍👍🚂🚃🚃
How about have the track go outside and loop back in no need for bigger shed and then have garden railway also just a thought that way more room for sceanics and won't be a tail chaser
Haha! I wouldn't mind having a garden layout, but I'd be worried about the track being exposed to the elements, and also how it would work with the bad weather and electrics... 💦⚡⚡⛈💥
I remember back in the day when I was a bit younger there was a railway line right next to my parents house and being a youngster I used to play on or near the railway lines all the time and yes I know health and safety 😂 anyway back to the story , one time myself and a friend was going along the line and spotted these round metal things strapped to the line and being youngsters my friend decided to find a large stone to drop on to one them for laugh 😂 well it ended badly when the thing exploded in face and with a puff of smoke the combat hat he was wearing took off from his head into the air ! 😂 and all I could do was roll about in a fit of laughter while his face was all blackened by smoke of the warning detonators they lay on the lines ! 😂😂😂
Haha! Probably a good thing you and your friend wern't injured at the time! I must admit, I think I would have probably laughed as well, if I had been in the same situation! 😂🤣 Do they still have those detonation devices nowadays? 🤔
Hi Richard, I'll wait with baited breath for what ever videos come from Darlingbrough, always make me smile.
Thank you Tim! Glad you're sticking around! 👍📹📽️😉😁

Consider a double deck in the new shed! (Maximise the area of your layout!) I agree about having a second channel

Hi Richard
Good luck with the new channel and I think it was a good decision to have a separate one .
Cheers Kev
Hi Kev!
Thanks for the support and the comment! Looking forward to building up my second channel as well! 😁😁👍
Would you consider a garden railway?

how about carryon building but builit in a way that it can be dropped in to the new layout as a modual and link it in.

I like the idea of a second channel for the sci fi, so people that are not interested are not put off and leave the channel.
I have created "Darlingbrough Sci Fi Builds" now, so check it out!
