Putting the inlay and disc in a sleeve is a game changer for space, done it with all my DVDs to create room for Blu Rays. I didn’t want to do it at first but it looks so much neater. For all Blu Rays I don’t rewatch but have no value to sell on I’ll probably do the same for them as well and just keep my main display shelves for my favourites. 👍
Certainly is a game changer for space mate 👍🏻 plus if ur taste changes in the future u can always flip back into a case for the shelves again. I did very similar with my dvds years ago but got rid of the sleeve too, so that's not so handy if u change ur mind 😅
Cheers mate 👍🏻 yeah I'm pretty sure I haven't seen it 🤔 although it could end up being one of those where I put it on and 10 mins in I realise I have 😄🤷
Agree with Snowtown, fantastic although disturbing movie. Nice edition of The Thing, hard to find. Great system of identifying films to watch and view again Ash
Great job ash i like the boxs with blurays in plastic seleves looks really tidy now and still have space to display new blurays you find you enjoy and keep gd video 😅😅😅
Wow you’ve made a lot of space already Ash, an I like your system for deciding on movies you might get rid of with turning them on their side 👍 I think the sleeves are a great idea too. Top progress bud 🙂💿
Cheers mate 👍🏻 yeah the turning on the side thing I've done for years, back into when there was only dvds available in my collection. They are ones I can't remember well enough to say if they need to go or not. 😎👍🏻
Interesting video, Ash. Good to see your set up. I’m currently in the process of categorising my movies into a spreadsheet but it’s probably going to take years! 😅
Cheers Ollie 👊🏻 yes mate been great to dust away the stuff that has no rewatch for me leaving such gems (for me anyway) behind on display 😀 how's ur own going?
@popcornandhorror Still working it out, probably taken around 100 titles off the shelf to sell and I have been rewatching some that I haven't seen for a long time to decide whether or not to keep them. Will probably do an update video in a few weeks
😅 cheers Roy! I think my blu ray and 4k total before I start cutting back a bit was getting close to 3500 🤷 wanted to try and get it at least down closer to the 3000 mark really.
I don’t have as much space and so my collection of DVDs and Blu-Rays is much smaller. I have in general been more selective in what I have bought, particularly buying films that would become rarer and harder to find in time. Recently, I have been buying films that I have an urge to watch. I’m also not afraid to let go of things I don’t want anymore.
Sounds like a good place to be with the collecting mate 👍🏻 👌🏻 maybe having a smaller space could actually be more useful with collecting, have to be on top of things sooner I guess 🙂👍🏻
I'm doing both at the same time 😅 using what I cull to fund the nice new things, just need to keep the ratio right in terms of what I cull vs what I pick up! 😁🤞🏻

Happy to see you return, and cutting the chaff. Loving Mr. Me Seeks. Very organised, looks like you've had a busy break away from here Ash
Cheers mate 👍🏻 yeah I love Mr Meseeks 😅 it's getting there, organised to my mind anyway probably not many others 😄
Coming along nicely matey . Don't envy you having to scan all those in lol
Snowtown on your not watched pile? Very tough watch but such a good film 😎👍
Cheers mate 👍🏻 yeah I'm pretty sure I haven't seen it 🤔 although it could end up being one of those where I put it on and 10 mins in I realise I have 😄🤷

@timcole418 cheers Tim 👍🏻 I'll have to move that one higher up the watch pile 😁

Coming on nicely Ash 😀👌 Wish I was that well organised with my Blu-Ray category 😂👍 Keep up the awesome work bud 🙌
Cheers Sammy G 😁👍🏻 yeah it's getting there mate. Nice to have it ready for winter 😄
Nice to have a clear out 👍
Yeah I'm a bit late on the 'spring clean' 😄
Its always good to get rid of what you dont need and keep the important films
Cheers Chris 👊🏻 yeah having a great time stripping back some of the deadwood to reveal my actual favourites 😁👍🏻
@@popcornandhorror I'm doing the same

Interesting use of the drawers, wish I was an organised! Great vid
Thanks 🙂👍🏻 yeah I do like to at least feel like I'm organised (even if in reality I'm not) helps me sleep better 😄
Looks like you have made very good progress. It's a big process but it will be worth it in the end

@ollielovesfilms6928 Sounds good mate 👌🏻
Think a lot of us are doing this now and removing films that won't get watched, Your shelves are looking better mate
Cheers mate 👍🏻 yeah it's feeling great having a good sort out. Just need to keep it this way going forward now 😄
Your collection is probably roughly the same size as mine which makes me think your as bonkers as me 😆 nice to see some space. 👍

@@popcornandhorror I find that difficult lol 😆
@stuartgeorge2324 yeah it's not easy 😄 but for me I need to get it back in check before I'm in too deep 😅
@@popcornandhorror with your wife? or to many films lol 😆 both probably 😄
Definitely both! 😄
