We don't say this too often when watching the Collection Critique.... Good job fellow collectors! Now...of course not everyone has the same income levels, which equates to better living spaces and better displays. But most of the time, we see collections that are too crammed together, amateur posing, and poorly thought out. Todays episode shows us how important it is to have the space and lighting when showing off action figure collections.
Interesting how Fans Toys dominate these collections. You’d think mainline would be a larger part of the typical collection. For Transformers fans, some people have little, if any, actual Transformers stuff! Imagine collecting Ferraris but every car was a Chinese copy…
Cept Fans Toys are of a higher quality than anything mainline. So using your comparison; Mainline equaling Ferraris then Fans Toys would be Lamborghini.
@@Ryekenhoshin23 I think you're being generous. Mainline is more like a Kia and 3rd Party is more like a Lamborghini. And it isn't about price or perceived status (I really don't give a crap about that and I'm not one of those rabid Fanstoys bootlickers) - they are just objectively leagues better (both aesthetically and from an engineering standpoint ) than anything Hasbro puts out with very very few exceptions.
In my opinion Takara/Hasbro themselves are the reason why more collectors don’t have a lot of mainline stuff. If we waited on Takara we would never have a representation of all of the characters. 3rd party is a necessary evil if we ever hope to have a complete collection before we all die of old age. Just my thoughts.
I think many of us who watch Bobby's channel have focused more on Masterpiece collecting. Bobby seems to have that focus as well. As such, it's not surprising to see similar collections.
Wow! The last one was very impressive!

It also shows the importance of having skullface artwork 😂
