I grew up hearing my father say “Times are hard, we have to make due”. That was his mindset and also mine for a LONG time. It’s OK for me to make a lot of money and have a lot of money in the bank!!!
I've always been scared of money growing up and up to this day I was afraid. I needed this! I deserve money to use for others as much as I have to work for it. It's a challenging journey but as a Hispanic woman and the eldest, it's hard. But I got this ✊🏽

Lisa!! You pinpointed several of my blocks to prosperity! #BOL I was raised believing that women aren't the bread winners, that the wealthy are stingy and that their kids have problems! I'm first generation American of Cuban immigrants and in my family, women weren't involved in the discussion of money. So with all those programs, I decided a while ago that I didn't NEED money and I've been living just above broke for years. I'm so grateful for you and your light. Love you, Sister!
I grew up in a community where women with money are labelled as "man on their own" because of the money they have. So when i grow older I made sure i took careers that pay less or make sure not to make more money. But after watching this I am pressing reset. Thanks Lisa.
Me, too, Cecilia! I was told that "no man would want me because I made too much money and had too much education". It is a very toxic belief that is passed down to us as women of color. I am definitely pressing reset!

What about absolutely love about this conversation around money if the coaching Lisa gives around looking at the relationship of money to culture. Often what I find amongst my family and friends in the African American community is that our conversation around money is rooted in lack, limitation, and scarcity. Consequently, we live into that conversation as if what we're telling ourselves is true. And that conversation keeps us in lack, limitation, and scarcity. These conversations is why I believe that everyone needs the benefit of coaching so that we can all uncover the blinds spots that we have about, let's say money, and manifest the abundance that is our divine right.
I had so many BOL and YANA moments, sometimes I feel I don't deserve expensive things (Luxury products) because I thought they were made for only WEALTHY and SPOILED people, yet I found myself craving for these same things. My culture and experience made me have a bad relationship with money, such that when people offered me expensive gifts, I turned them down, then regret my decisions later. I just wanted people to think of me as simple and modest, but now I realise I was wrong. Today, I choose to fix my relationship with money. Thank you Lisa!

This is really great advice Lisa. Most people don't realize that they have a money mindset that doesn't allow them to attract more of it even though they want it. Like you said, heal your relationship with money, set a new belief behind it.
This struck a chord with me. I need to challenge the belief of there is not enough to go around and change it to I always have more than enough.

Ok Lisa, you pushed the right button, created an Ah-ha moment a BTOL moment and challenged me to really think. I am living in a relationship with money that was created for me plain and simple. I wear the scarcity badge as well because I always feel the need to buy more than what is necessary so I won't lack, even if it throws me into debt. A part of me feels I need more money when in reality, I just need to mange what I have better and making more money will mean nothing if I don't resolve all of these negative feelings related to money.

You made me think about the example that I am setting for my kids in regards to money. I grew up not see money. No one talked about money. I struggle with financial goals. I actually, for the first time wrote a list of things I, I personally want. This is new, it feels different, I cried when I read over the list.

Great message! I have to revisit my kids’ beliefs around money as they are still young! One exercise that was an eye opener for me was writing a letter to money - All my true feelings came out which then allowed the healing to begin.

Hi Lisa! I love your authenticity and ability to make me question who I am and what my belief systems are. I have a complicated relationship with money and challenging it is confronting. How do you change a negative mindset around money? What do you physically do? Affirmations? Education? I don't particularly like reading how to be wealthy books. Is it possible to do what you love and have the money flow without the focus on wealth retainment?
Having using money the right way, growth will come not just income but good relationship to true and legit people around in life.
I'm awer that I have to be more contan, with all what You have chare with us, for the new year, my goal, accomplish all of it, be constad.
I grew up in a family where even if there was money we couldnt even think that we can spend it and so we always had no money 😊(and the others always had more than we had 😂) ..so the feeling is that the “others”are always more and better 😤.Thank you Lisa 🙏
