I used a bus like this going from Thai Nguyen to Cao bang (north of Vietnam)…a 5-hr journey up the hilly area. It was surprisingly very comfortable despite the fact it was packed…I mean there were people sleeping on the walking aisle..and I’m quite big. I guess traveling at night helped to take your mind off things. Also, it was winter time so no problem with smell or maybe I was desensitize to body odor by then. Missing Vietnam…I was there for 10 months to teach English..had a great time.

  • @hoangtuan7945

You should try Thiện Thành Limousine bus. There're only 11 seats on the bus and they're extremely spacious, one seat is big enough for 2 adults and a 10 year old kid. It's a pity that they only depart form HCMC to Kien Giang province and vice versa. The ticket is 350.000 VND per person ($15), not too expensive but definitely not cheap. If you're overweight, don't worry, the space of the seat could perfecly fit you. I saw a 120 kgs (265 lbs) American man get in the bus and he was totally satisfied with the service.

As per me, the bus was good... And there should be only one aisle as this will allow maximum space (around 5 inches addition) to every single person.. and the seats should be allotted just before the bus starts taking into consideration people who are together and single aisle... I mean families and friends can be made to sit together in joint sleeping seats.. and even if there are 2 single seats they can be made to sit together.. hopefully this would work better on space crunch of aisle if people are ready to adjust a bit

I would think internet, reading material of choice on screen and a camera mounted on top of the bus for a birds eye view that is available to switch back & forth on the screen when desired... I would like it more with slightly larger seating or at least a few in one section of the bus, as well as communication between seating via headsets...

This would be very successful in the United States. The only example here is LA-SanFran. I also see Miami-Atlanta as high potential in the US.

We have sleeper buses in India. But they are few in numbers. Also we have a wide network of railway. Our railway are cheap and they are getting better and better every day. So we also don't need too many sleeper buses.

The sleeping bus is heaven! compared to the usual and bus which I took in Russia. It took me 17 hours and the seat is very small. Since then I hate taking the bus and switching to the train.

This looks comfy but I wonder what fire and exit safety is taken into consideration in a case of an emergency. Those allies looks very narrow to maximize the number of passengers.

    독특한 체험이라 좋았어요
    휴게소에서 망고 두리안 반미

    ㅎ ㅎ 누워서 갈수있다는게
    재밌더라구요!

I hate travelling in sleeper bus, due to several reasons like:
    1. Sleeping Tiny Place triggers claustrophobia.
    2. When you sit upright the head touches the upper deck.
    3. Seats/Cabins are really very uncomfortable.
    4. One cannot easily interact with the people sitting/sleeping in cabins above/below them.
So I prefer to travel either by Seater Bus or a Train

You should use the plane instead a sleep bus.
And in this video I still don’t understand why doesn’t he use the plane? There is a international airport (in Can Tho). Almost Vietnamese people use the plane. Are you really poor?
