What it's like on a Vietnam Sleeper Bus

- Today I'm taking a ride on a Vietnam Sleeper Bus. The bus will go from Dalat to Ho Chi Minh City. Most travelers take advantage of the buses by traveling overnight to their destinations and sleeping while they ride the bus, only to arrive well rested and ready for their trip.

I’m very lucky that I am married to a beautiful Vietnamese woman here in the states for 11 years now. She returns to her home country every other year, but I have not had the time off from work to ever visit her home, but I will get to go someday.
SHe went there to visit her boyfriend.

If you are running a small business i understand. If you are working for someone take some dang time off. Take 2 months off and live in Vietnam. You wont regret it
Been there for 3 weeks and traveled in every possible way and yes sleepbus and it was great!! Traveled from Hanoi along the coast until Ho Chi Min Ville ...best journey ever!!

I am glad that finally there is a person who makes a film about this kind of public transportation. Before the pandemic, I usually use those busses to go to HCM city from Nha Trang city where I live and I always enjoy the experience in those busses. I hope the pandemic will be over as early as possible so I can go to HCM city to visit my sister.
That really is great value and no need for a hotel for the sleeping hours so it is very cost effective. L.A Rob

Thats for sure. I travel by bus from toowoomba to brisbane once and never again. It was horrendous.
Last time a took a sleeper bus they lived up to their promise of traveling by air experience as due to bad roads I was mid air for most of the journey while trying to sleep

@@MrLekung They clean really well! The bus owner and the driver know for sure what should they do after each trip. They all follow the Transportation Guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health during the pandemic.
Every country was the same one time or the other.

@@precluderblogg9746 It is. It is the 2nd largest in the world by Landmass but not population. Unfortunately on the east coast where population is lowest, they removed train service around 25 years ago & the bus service stopped about 15-20 years ago. for long distance travel on the east side small shuttle companies opened up everywhere to transport people. East coast of Canada gets the shitty end of the stick all the time because the population is smallest.
You sleep in a Vietnam bus, you wake up as a spirit 👻. 🤣
I was in Vietnam last year before the pandemic kicked off. Experienced the sleepers buses and I must say some drivers drive very fast, I woke up mid way with streets lights zooming past. Great experience though! Love vietnam!

In South India we have sleeper busses with full bed and pillow, also you can have single and double beds, upstairs or down stairs with on board entertainment, In NORTH WEST India same structure busses, but you have sliding doors for your privacy

Cruz Del Sur buses in Peru are similar. Reclining leather seats with some audio/visual.. but no curtain. Great for those long bus journeys.
