    Nice video, very informative. I like how you talked about the social and political atmosphere surrounding it, rather than just focusing on the simulation itself.

    Awesome Simulation! You are pretty knowledgeable when it's about floods and tsunamis. Recently i was looking at north africa in google maps and noticed patterns that look like enornous amounts of water swapped over north africa up to egypt and while draining or retreating left those patterns. What kind of event could do something like this and could you run a simulation of that. I think that might be really interesting

    • @raviolooo3841
      @raviolooo3841 ปีที่แล้ว

      Flow patterns in North Africa are probably related to the big paleolakes (es Lake Megachad) that existed there during the African Humid period

    I've been a fan of this channel for a while and was just reminded from seeing one of anton petrov's videos. I have a challenge for you if you'd like. The Greenland crater. It's at the center of a lot of conspiracy theories lol. I was also watching something that said the ocean intruded inland from the gulf of saint lawrence because the weight of the ice pushed the continent down. might be a bit much to ask you to include that but if you did do the greenland crater as is i'd be more than happy with that.

    • @arno_grnfld455
      @arno_grnfld455 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Greenland crater is very much older than the Greenland ice sheet, I think they correlated the crater with the petm Palaeocene Eocene thermal maxima at 55+ million years ago, there's another crater deeper into Greenland that's even more older than the Hiawatha crater

    Isn't the river officially and locally called the Yalu river, not Yellow? Yellow is an anglisized bastardization of the Yalu name.

    • @polarwolfie9028
      @polarwolfie9028 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The Yalu river is the one on the border with North Korea. The Yellow River is much further south, and we call it “yellow” because of the colour of the muddy water
