Pierce Brosnan was and is a marvelous actor and he brought an indelible stamp to the Bond role. He should have been given the opprtunity to do a fifth Bond in 2004 preceeding Craig. He was also great in the re-make of "The Thomas Crown Affair".
That guy IS James Bond, naturally. He oozes James Bond, he wears James Bond, he lives James Bond and talks James Bond in every single word he pronounces.
they later rebooted the series for a more 21st century modern bond. Plus the producers thought Brosnan was too old as Brosnan was turning 50 at that time. But it would be cool if we got a 5th film out of hime in 2004. And despite him almost at 50 he still looked great!!
I like Pierce and never understood replacing him so soon. I also like Craig, but to me Pierce looks just as young as Craig, he has a youthfulness about him like Roger. Seeing this clip reminds me of how much I miss his Bond.

I grew up with this man as bond. When I hear the name James Bond or hear the music, I can only combine it with this man's face.

I grew up with Pierce as well. And honestly, I do miss his Bond too. I'm VERY happy with Craig's portrayal but Brosnan wasn't bad at all.
