Hey guys, I’m new to playing Smash. I used to play Melee as a kid (as casual as casual gets). Can anybody Tell Me how Cloud is moving so fast? Is he using SHFFL? Is SHFFL even in SSBU? I’ve been practicing short-hop fast-falling but this Cloud seems to be doing it 100x faster than me. What other inputs would cancel/reset your hop so quickly??
there is no l cancel in this game which is what you're referring to with shffl. its more just shff in this game cuz landing lag was reduced across the board, theres a short hop aerial buffer system to throw out short hop aerials perfectly to setup autocancels. i'd suggest watching izaws guide, it explains alot of things about the games mechanics.
alright throwing this out there.... yes the limit nerf is interesting and overall better for less campy cloud play... but 15 seconds? with no visual warning? bullshit I feel like Cloud relies too much on limit for killing... and also you LOSE limit if you get hit while charging it. I propose to up it to 30 seconds and give some kind of warning... otherwise I'm loving this Cloud its more fair while still badass and fun

So little mac doesnt power through everything. Shorter jolt haymaker down tilt doesnt combo into itself but i think he is still really good down tilt combos well into other moves
Some Guy Dadamage that would make it useless. It’s actually very easy to escape all you have to do is react to the roller and either jump,shield or just spam jump and they can’t smash attack. I know as I’m an inkling main

@@jaredmartin7040 Cloud is a slug compared to the other swordsman. All his moves come out slower and he doesn't hit hard enough for the size of the sword he weilds. Chrom and Roy are extremely fast and can actually combo. Chrom also has a kill confirm. Cloud straight up relies on back air and limit to kill because he hits like a wet noodle with every other move or their too slow.
