“Smith’s belief in himself was his guiding *lighthouse* amidst a tempest of outside opinions. This is a quality well-suited for many types of treasure hunts.” This couldn't be a more obvious clue, imo.
@EstesQuest I think he gives abstract clues and location clues. I mean, he has to for anyone to have a chance at finding it ever. Lighthouses and his talk of wind and breezes guiding you seem to mean coastal areas is where it likely is.
Hello there , I'm from Dalton Georgia, I ordered the book ,got it and have been listening to your videos,, I'm looking for the appalachian footpath box,,
Not Illinois.. 😅 “Faith is taking the first step.” Maybe we should be looking for a first step to the LS box in this chapter. New York City is mentioned, maybe that is where we start, but not sure how. “Guiding lighthouse” is mentioned, maybe that ties in. “AI will probably even share a perspective or three.” Why use the number three instead of two.. Since page 61 shows dancers, maybe Joy’s Serenade is relevant to this chapter in some way, not sure how.

So we are looking for a literal lighthouse you think? Somewhere near the treasure, or it’s a figurative, like a tall building that’s casts out light?

@@dwiii1635 I'd agree with this.
I agree with your idea that some of JCB hints/clues may be themes, not actual clues.

St Louis is fair, it's just past the Ozarks
I guess you are right- it could be a little wordplay with the meaning of “past”
You have to know how to read between the lines. It's so obvious that the clues are in the text. The writing is on the wall.
