The Suburban has been my dream car because that's all my parents drove when I was growing up. We have 3 boys and we just purchased a 2018 Suburban LT, 2 weeks ago, with the luxury package and dvd's, like yours, only mine is gray. Your video and many others were helpful in making that decision because I was also considering the new Ford Expedition Max. I'm loving my Suburban and thanks for the video! I'm planning on keeping mine for many years as well! ❤
We bought our suburban back in 2014 when we became a family of 5 and it’s still going strong! Now a family of 6, it still meets our needs perfectly! You cannot beat the trunk space. We have the older body style, but I absolutely love yours! We’ll probably drive ours as long as it lasts, but when we upgrade it will probably be another suburban!
Still daily drive my almost 20 year old 2002 Chevrolet white Suburban with a six inch lift only 165,000 miles to work every day drives like brand new Ac and heater still works these vehicles can last a long time with well taken care of paint still in great condition with no rust keep up with it maintenance planing on keeping this vehicle for a long time love the room for my family take it out of town every once and awhile it always makes it back home every time only had to do fuel pump spark plugs and wires with oil changes from Texas

If I remember correctly my first Suburban had 137,000 miles and was running great. I just loved the look of the new styling. I'm sure I could have driven the first one another 50,000 miles 😊
We love our suburban too. Just be mindful of the transmission when u get near 150,000 miles. Suburbans ALWAYS need a new transmission around then. Ours went at 152,000 with no warning and was $4,000 at the dealership to rebuild 😓 that was the cheapest place around.
I have 4 children and you hit every selling point for me. I knew to be prepared when I'm traveling with my children and my suv just couldn't handle it.

Wow! Heated steering wheel, didn’t even know that was a thing?!? Cool! I have to have heated seats and a remote start, the southern girl in me will always loathe the cold/snow in Iowa!! Love the suburban! 😀
I have the same vehicle. Be careful with the hand sanitizer I kept it in the same spot and did not realized it dripped on the leather console that wraps the cup holders peeled the black paint off.

I have a touring pilot and our dvd system is a pain too! You can control some features from the front and switch out the discs up front but a lot of features need changed in the back or with the remote control which we aren’t good with!🙄

Very nice! But I'm super surprised at the lack of leg room in for the 3rd row! We have 5 kids, and 3 of them are already over 6 feet tall. We just bought a new Honda Odyssey mini van, and it has plenty of space for our tall boys. I'm in love with it, as it's the nicest vehicle I've ever owned too! 💞💞
Kandi Eheart I’m surprised too! There’s no way my tall kids would be comfortable back there. We have a Toyota Sienna. On a trip to fly to Florida we packed it with: four adults, two kids in car seats, a side by side double stroller, two sets of golf clubs and all our luggage for six people for a week. We were all comfortable on our four hour road trip!
I would love to know what your neighbors were thinking while you were doing this car tour. 😂 We have this exact same suburban (or Burb, as we call it). I have a daycare and two kids of my own. I can’t fit 3 seats in my third row. I have 1 convertible car seat & 1 booster back there and tried to put another booster (with no back) and it wouldn’t work. A smallish child can fit between them but that is it. 👎 Other than that, I love ours!

I agree with you, we have an 08, and the dvd system is a pain at times.. i can navigate from the front but have to be guided by my children, or crank my neck to see, which tends to be more dangerous than just being able to see it myself..🤪 I love our truck, i fully intend to drive it until it falls apart.. but man oh man i wish we had the seat pre-sets, as I'm only 5'4 and husband is 6'3.. he changes my seat angle, my steering wheel, my mirrors.. it takes me a full 5 minutes to re-set everything 🤣🤣 I did want to ask, if you have remote start on your key fob, when away from the vehicle? Or is it just when inside the truck for the push start?🤔 Love from Texas😍😘😘

The trunk in order to open it like you showed us do you have to have the car unlocked to open it or can you push it and it open while the car is locked?
