Hi, your videos are very helpful. Thank you! Do you also have jig files for mini bonus tower?

Hi, thanks! I never made a mini-bonus tower, so I don't have any jigs for that. I'm not sure that would be of much use though, now that we know the rules, if you want to play with building a bonus version, using the full-sized version would be best

Thank you so much for these videos! If you don't mind me asking, could you share the 3d jig files with us? It would be an awesome project to work on over the summer

Thanks!! That is a great idea! I have put the link in the description of the video and here it is directly as well: www.klingerphotography.com/BalsaEngineering/Mini_tower_jig_120mm_250mm_v2.STL Let me know how it goes if you try and build some of these.

Of these first 3, the #3 was the best. If you want to see the best one of all, check out the next video in the series or the conclusion video (#5 turns out to be the best)

What was the wood type used for the cross bracing and the legs for recreating the towers?

Sorry just the cross bracing, found the leg info

@@roh5768 No problem. Yeah, I used 1/8 x 1/8 for the legs and for the cross-members I used 1/32" thick by about 1.5mm.

@@balsaengineering6686 Ty for the info! I have a follow questionn for the cross bracing width, making the cross bracing pieces at that length would require stripping balsa sheets, how can you achieve this without breaking or unevenly cutting those sheets at that small of a width.

@@roh5768 The answer is very carefully :) In all seriousness, that is a skill you'll want to practice and get better at. Especially for tower cross-bracing, you'll probably eventually want to use 1/32" thick balsa. It takes some practice to get good at stripping that and even gluing it is harder than using thicker pieces. I'll eventually go over some build techniques with 1/32" thick balsa when it comes time for the full build videos for next season.
