- Last stop in my spring road trip across the American West: the breathtaking Great Sand Dunes National Park, in Colorado. I only had a full day there, but so many things to capture and enjoy. From the howling coyotes that woke me up in the middle of the night under a full moon, to the relentless wind and menacing thunderstorms, this place is always a challenge. Which makes the images you make there the more rewarding.

What an other worldly location. Stark and beautiful.
I love the Great Sand Dunes, and it doesn't have nearly as many visitors as other parks. A favorite of mine for sure.
My favourite TH-cam photography channel. Always good content, great images and sensible advice. I don’t even miss the Bronica anymore.. 😂
Really great thank you
You don't need bad weather conditions, fogs and wind, even in the desert, you also express black and white poetry!
Absolutely, the sand dunes are a great place to photography in sunny / partly cloudy conditions!
More of this style video please!
I Love it ❤
Thank you!
There’s something special about the forms and textures of a windswept sandy landscape. I very much enjoyed this video and the fine images … thanks! 📷🙂
Thank you so much! I love these landscapes as well, always lots of fun to be had at the sand dunes!
Fantastic. The photographs, the coyotes howling, the wind blowing, the sound of the sand beneath your feet.... just fantastic.
Hi Adrian, this was certainly a different video to your other ones but in a good way. I loved the sand, it can't be easy walking on the Sand, but if anyone can do it, it's you Adrian. Great moving clouds, the Sun Starburst looked nice, i bet it looked better in real life. Also the Shadow's in the Sand dunes looked great with the Ambient light. Thanks for sharing 😊
Glad you liked it! It's a beautiful place, one I always love to go back to.
I can see why you want to go back. Thanks Adrian 🙂
Love the images !!! I want to return to the dunes. We were stormed out the 1st time I was there.
Beautiful video, loved the bird and coyotes, so fitting. Images were great, well interpreted.
You should definitely make more images in sunny conditions...😉
I should haha, I just need to find the right place... like this one :)
Stunning
Thank you so much!
I liked that you let the pictures do the talking 💯👍
I did record plenty of talking but decided to ditch it all haha
Hi Adrian, your abstract work is stunning, and the quality of your videos is top-notch. Hoping your camera is ok. Thank you for all your hard work.
Many thanks, Heather! Camera is just fine and ready for the next one, fortunately :)
@@aows - Thank goodness for that, Adrian 😊
Love this.
Thanks!
Wonderful images! Thank you for sharing!
Glad you liked them. Thanks for watching!
Camera strap for the win
Not if I leave it in the car haha. You are right, that was a mistake.
Cool photos! Some place I didn't know existed but now want to visit. Thanks Adrian.
Glad it was useful in that way then :) It's a beautiful park, a landscape you wouldn't expect to find there. I love the contrast between the sand dunes and the snowy mountains surrounding them. You'll love it if you decide to go there. Thanks!
Super pics, but you missed the Alligator Farm in nearby Mosca, CO 🐊🐊🐊. It would have been a great juxtaposition.
Haha, it would be indeed! I had no idea, maybe next time. Thanks!
Easily your best work to date!
Glad you liked it!
Magnifique balade dans les dunes. Merci.
Merci!
Great images and amazed you didn’t get lost out there! Hope the camera survived.
It did, it's ready for the next adventure! It'd be hard to get lost there because you can always climb a tall dune to find your way back, or at least have an idea... but yeah, there are miles and miles of dunes, you can go very deep.
Wonderful desert shots. Please get a neck or wrist strap.
I have both, and I left both in the car haha. Big mistake.

You need good insurance for your equipment 😊
I probably do... I have one of my cameras insured... but that's about it. And know that I think about it, it might be expired by now. Oh well.
the best kind of instructional video by far ! how long were you yhrtr? excellent light and shadows
Thank you, glad you liked it! I only had one full day there, and the previous evening, but that was about it.
