Yes! this is what i mean by highlighting BPN athletes! Definitely love how this was filmed, loved the mix of workout routine and back story of what brought them to where they are
I looked at this way I have been running/lifting for a long time. I never was the biggest or strongest nor the fastest or farthest but I could always do something respectable in both areas. Gotta love that your body can go crank 10 miles and pick up heavy shit. All on a random day.
I’ve been watching this channel for years and never actually clicked the subscribe button. This video was the one made me remember to subscribe after watching .
Starting down this road with some pretty lofty lifting goal and added 12 minute 2 mile challenge to the mix. Let’s goo!!!! This video is some awesome motivation!
Just discovered BPN and this day in the life series and I'm such a big fan already! Shoutout to the video/editor these are sick. Also shout out to the athletes for the Inso. Makes me want to checkout Austin one day!
Great video! It's interesting how little is mentioned about hormones, especially testosterone, which is crucial for building muscles. For natural exercisers, the book 'You Are Stronger Than You Think' by Borlest has some useful insights on testosterone that could be helpful."
Got out and started running again and slowly getting faster and pushing over 13 mile long runs. 197 pounds I lift heavy, speed training, longs runs. I stay discipline and hit 5-6 day trading weeks and super locked in on eating habits and getting in all the right supplements. I’ve been back at it now for about 8 months and I’m starting to feel great again. Honestly I’ve never heard the term “hybrid athlete” I guess when people ask I can just tell them that now 😂. I love BPN. Customer and subscriber #gonemore #stayhybrid
I’m curious to see because it seems like most of these “hybrid” guys of course not all, seem to start as a bodybuilder then transition to running. So they just have to maintain their physique they’ve already built. I haven’t really seen anyone who started doing both always seems like they trained like a bodybuilder first
It’s an easier transition than the latter, that’s prob why. Plus what’s the point in looking good if you can only f@&k for 5 mins before having a heart attack. Get that cardio up boy.
Exactly u can’t build that much while staying lean with all that cardio, in my experience at least thru wrestling, football, and weightlifting, but u kinda can maintain it
Came across this video right before I was supposed to be getting sleep!...eneded up being glued to the video. I saw the Fonz in Nick's videos and could tell you had Good vibes! Now I know you have Good Vibes bro!...super chill video! Thank you for the service you put in. I look forward to the next video🤘🏽 Just North of you in 'Big D' 'Let's Go Mavs'
@fonzian - thanks for this day in the life, keep doing you! question -- what's up with that mobile sauna?? any place you can point me to get more info on that build would be deeply appreciated! thank you!
Awesome and inspiring video. What a community ya'll have created. As a PT, I watch nuances of sports and videos. At 6:59 there is a huge hip internal rotation motion on the right side at toe off/initial swing phase. Wonder if there's a muscle imbalance or tightness happening there....
Honest question here. I see lots of hybrid athletes doing running, bodybuilding, etc. why not powerlifting instead of bodybuilding? Seems like it would combine with the running to be more effective?
The only thing I can think of would be the bodybuilding route will be slightly less maximal lifting effort as far as weight on the bar. You can focus more on hypertrophy vs straight strength which would stress some of the joints ie knees more than the overall volume focus of bodybuilding.
Awesome video!!! This literally motivates me to push hard and harder. I'm struggling being obesity and definitely can try to become healthy like you athletes. 💪💪💪💪 One step at a time
The guy literally said he did bodybuilding before this and some of y'all don't think steroids are in the equation? Just because he won a 'natural pro card' does not mean he was natural 24/7. From what I've seen, once anybody crosses that steroid line once then there is no going back, becomes that much easier to do it again whenever/wherever it seems necessary
Pretty much. Look, I dig the 70s Pumping Iron/Prefontaine chic aesthetic of the video, but the message is completely lost when anyone who has been around the fitness block can recognize that it's just another fake natty slinging supplements. Supps have their place, but whatever benefit the supplements give to performance and recovery are blasted out of the water 100x over compared to exogenous hormone injections.
I am not trying to be insulting or take away from your work ethic at all… but is this physique possible naturally? Dude has mass and is very lean. I struggle to do both and am genuinely curious
Yes, cause as he said, he just started hybrid training for a year, before that he trained for bodybuilding competitions etc, so his body is already built by the time he incorporates heavy cardio. Plus he takes nutrition very seriously as he mentioned he at least takes 2 pound of meat every single day plus supplements.
you ccan achieve the look. ive been lifting weights and gained size, when cutting I run and it makes you lean. you just have to watch your nutrition and make sure you're eating enough to maintain/gain size while running and lifting. if you're doing it naturally I will mention that your recovery is going to be shit, and you're going to be tired and have sore joints. so take recovery seriously
No offense to Fonz. I am bigger by quite some pounds and im natural. Always been. Its perfectly doable. The hard thing is sticking to it! Much props to him for being so light hearted and fun! Im always kind of grumpy
Because your body not used to it as you gain better lifting the weight your body get more used to it and one head as much as I used to I hope it was make sense
@@elliotb1616the dude looks like a runner my boy,!he’s definitely a Pudsmacking donkey but fake natty? Maybe but definitely not required to look like that
blessed to be apart of this team, stay hybrid.
You look insane, what's your current weight?
so much respect. working to be like you.
Stay 51% Brugh! Its totes normal to let your broskis comb your mustache and shave your back for you and don’t let anyone tell you different

everything about this video is great, the quality is just amazing, the audio, the cinematographic shots, just makes it feel like a movie.

He can handle another man in any arena 😤 also incredibly unique with the mullet and mustache! I’ve never seen a natty bodybuilder with that combo

this guy looks like he bottles his own farts so he can sniff em later
jk, had to chirp him for lying about running a sub5 mile
He was doing 800s, 400s and 100s. He was referring to his pace not a full timed mile.
