This was such an amazing record of the entire trip!! I just watched it with Jeremy and he narrated. Thank you Shannon for doing this, I know how much work it is. Such a gift!!
Amazing bike tour!!! I'm planning on doing NYC to Quebec City next year. How old were teens? I want to do something like this with my daughter but I don't know what the right age is. Thanks!
Thanks! The teens were 13-16 years old. Upstate New York is such a beautiful area to ride through! I highly recommend taking the Empire State Trail as much as possible (lots of dedicated bike paths or quiet country roads). The route got a bit hilly on some days, but nothing that the teens couldn't handle :) Hope you have a wonderful trip!
@@jaimiestevens8 I rode from NYC to Buffalo on the EST in 2022; this year I rode the GAP and C&O. Next year, I'm planning to do NYC to Quebec City. My girls are 7 and 9 years old; I can't wait for them to get a bit older to tour with me. I think the first tour would probably be the GAP/C&O; I thought it was more scenic than the EST and you don't have to share the road with cars.
Nice 😍😍😍
