Hello there! I have a Crimean Tatar Turks living in Turkey. We're doing exactly like the food you make in Turkey. Its name is "Çiğ Börek". The way it is made and the interior materials are exactly the same. I understand that we have carried our food culture, which we developed with our Mongolian brothers in Central Asia for centuries, to Anatolia. This is a great feeling !. All children Steppe greetings from Turkey..
Nice. We needed this kind of show. Looking forward to the next episode. What you guys doing is truly awesome. Hope to see the attitude of foreigners toward our cuisine change in a positive way.
Jason Janoy Blaha Lover Boy horses in mongolia roam free and are semi wild even the horses tamed for riding roam many more miles compared to horses everywhere else so their hooves get trimmed by all the running they do just like wild horses or feral horses like the mustang
Oh my, I've gotta go to Mazaalai restaurant right now! By the way, in Chicago there is real authentic restaurant! Huushuur is my fave. Thanks for your video! keep up doing that!
It's very interesting how you show your culture, the food looks amazing. Greats from Mexico, and i hope you can come some day to our country, all Mongolians and all the people are welcome
Nargie! I’m totally fascinated with your videos. Music and video content is awesome, and you’re a fantastic host! Authentic, unique, and I’m so glad our world’s fascinating cultures and cuisines are available to those who wanna know! Keep up the great work. I predict you will be world renown one day soon. GooOooOoo NARGIE!
New subscriber here, but first i have to dig up old videos, i like the culture, and tradition, and i really love the content, very informative. Keep it up.
Watching from the Philippines. 🇵🇭😊❤ I haven't tried Khuushuur yet, but it's very interesting and looks good. That is similar to our very own Empanada, a Filipino pie with various fillings.
Yo bro, we have the same exact dish in Puerto Rico and throughout the Caribbean islands. We call it "Pastelijos." I love Mongolian history. Thanks for posting this video.
interesting how most asians are light on the dairy yet Mongolians drink it by the gallon. Maybe one of the reasons why they had an advantage on long military campaigns.
I just love that they're big deep fried meat dumplings normally when they get that big people don't fry them in other cultures they'll steam them or bake them but almost reminds me of when Italians fried giant cheese calzones
in england we have something similar called a pasty. Lamb potato onion and mint pasty to be exact. I really like stone cooked principle of mongolian cooking I'm eager to try it out :)
M from north east India also Mongolian by origin n we have so much similarities in good m glad to know that except for different names this khushuur is called (sha phalay) in our language almost the same recipe
If you cant talk properly in English just stop using it. You look so pretentious. Please learn to speak properly in your own language before start stealing from others...
Nahh mate mongolians do that because lot of food places around the city put little meat in khuushuur, its kinda like trying to get more meat bite in there 😂
We ate at that same Irish pub in UB and had the khuushuur there, but they weren't as good as the ones sold at most cheap guanz places. The veg salad went very well with the khuushuur though.
I've seen something made exactly this way by Salvadorean people, a ball of dough then flattened out. Pupusas! They usually have meat, or beans, or cheese, or a mixture, and are served with some pickled vegetables, too! I think they cook them on a hot griddle and not deep fried, but it really looks very similar Everyone loves fried pastry! The ones that are folded and crimped look like "Empanadas", everyone loves these things!
Can you make a video of the local herbs and Vega tables used in cooking? Can you show how to cook nettles? I love Mongolian people...love front toronto
yup. the method and the ingredients are same. I stayed in Eskisehir(many Crimea Tatars reside there. I think, that's why they brought the cig borek into Turkish cousine) in Turkey during my study. And the cig boreks were delicious.
In India, we have something similar, it's called gujiya, it's sweet and filled with condensed milk filling. It's made only once a year on holi festival, the festival of colours
@Bat Orgil I actually don't know why Mongolia has no terrorist attacks. Maybe we are just to lazy to do these stuff. I don't really research much about Mongolia even though I live here.
I’m Mongolian and all these nice comments are making me so happy :)

Would like to visit Mongolia someday. Hope the country is safe from infections. I am liking the cuisine and culture.
This is Amazing. My mother made these all the time. The Spanish or Native-American name for my culture which is both is... Panalitas. So Yummm♥️
We call it Çiğ Börek in Turkey, (Raw Börek) because the filling is not pre-cooked. Can be compared with hotdog, its more like a snack street food :))
Watching from the Philippines. 🇵🇭😊❤ I haven't tried Khuushuur yet, but it's very interesting and looks good. That is similar to our very own Empanada, a Filipino pie with various fillings.
Mongolian mutton beefs naturally like like a hunting wild animal meat. Perfect. Full of vitamins, minerals. Thats Mongolians full of energy

oh yeah definitely, good thing about dairy is it can be made into non-perishable food, which is ideal for long journeys.

Think wisely. I live in Mongolia. (Until I'm 18) But there are so much pollution in the winter. A lot of kids and people die.
@Bat Orgil I actually don't know why Mongolia has no terrorist attacks. Maybe we are just to lazy to do these stuff. I don't really research much about Mongolia even though I live here.
