Today, we'll be covering Ao Oni with a script almost exclusively written by 03Try (the first diamond Ao Oni)! This will probably be the longest guide out of the series... Trust me, I won't make a 13 minute guide next time...

My apologies for the stuttering and edit errors. This was one of the longer guides and it took me a while. I somehow missed some stuff :(
About 3 months ago I started playing pillar chase and immediately picked up ao oni because of he was the most familiar monster to me. After watching this and playing more with ao oni, I can proudly say that ao oni is my most played and highest level monster. I love ao oni!!!
Double Trouble also has an additional tip of the other monster chasing a disguised Ao Oni, which can allow Ao Oni to get close in the stress of it all
true, but this video simply focused on your average solo monster rounds which is what you'll usually playing. double trouble is a whole other ball game in terms of tactics and such which would prob require its own video yk?
As a Diamond Oni main, I already knew all these skills and techniques, thank you for telling others how to use him properly though! 🙏❤
Can you teach me some oni tips on mobile?
Dont focus on the same player so much, im not a Oni main but at first i found annoying that i yuke and dodge killers so much and they still chase me. Now i've realised that when a survivor stalls you, you're wasting too much time.
Basically if you dont manage to cripple your prey at first, just leave him alone. There are high chances that he is not finding a medkit.@@Dark989-b7c

I main Ao Oni and i feel that Ao Oni isn't bad at chasing but there are better monsters for chasing.

also whenever your shape shifted you ALWAYS use the normal run, so try to only shapeshift as people with a normal type run

Once I’m done with EXE to getting him to level 100 (currently level 95) I’m either gonna try to get uncle samsonite or Ao Oni to level 100 as well.
I think ima go with Ao Oni first tho since his my childhood horror character tho im experienced in using Ao Oni like you (tho not as much, I have him level 31), I can indeed say he has a hard time getting good players definitely & yea DEFINITELY like you say.
Your gonna win some rounds & others not, it’s literally a sometimes of me winning & me losing, there’s no majority here
I’m trying to start to main Ao Oni however I have an issue with them.
Normally by myself I am usually able to wipe a team of survivors of about 5 people.
However with a full lobby of survivors I feel like I can’t do anything or get any kills. This might just be because of the map I was on but I don’t know.
Have any tips?
@@Itz_Dust it really depends on the players in your lobby more competent players will be harder to kill that’s just fact so you’re better off getting rid of the weak links to have more time to focus on the stronger players later on in late game

Maaaaaan...they gotta add an alternative F button for console/mobile so they don't miss out on certain mechanics too
Would you say ao oni is a good character to use for controller because in order to select an avatar to shapeshift as you need to stand still for around 3 second to navigate the menu cursor.

@@GiftCard_GC I still like using him but the slow down when shapeshifting does get annoying at times since it is one of his main abilities.

@@nevergoon42 when using rosemary or vapor if you equip the zombie skin it’ll display your zombie level

I don’t currently own Ao Oni, I’ve been putting off purchasing him so I can purchase the mimic when it comes out, I am seriously trying very very hard to not buy him because I love these types of monsters in asyms.

I know you said to go first person while shapeshifted but what if your on mobile and cant go in first person??

You’ll just have to deal with third person then. Also, I didn’t diamond him. 03Try diamonded him and he said about 3 weeks.
@@GiftCard_GCao oni’s hitbox smaller than or same as zombie hitbox currently,which make mobile oni hard to attack people(first person is really useful for oni to attack people).I need to stand with surviver at same position to attack😢
Does ao oni still get a speed boost when shapeshifting?
yes, he gets the same stamina speed and drain as a survivor, its very useful for catching up with good players

I was about to comment “you can use Oni Vision to boost stamina” then I realized this was an older version and there was no stamina boost back then

but shapeshift is normally being used for speed so ppl actually shapeshift for speed
