    Been using this bench primer for a couple of weeks now. I do like it, but about 1 in 12 primers drop sideways in front of the ram. I use a toothpick to straighten the primer out. But if you have one of these, make sure you give a quick look at each primer as it drops to make sure it's sitting flat against the ram.

    I hate this new triangular holder. Good news the RCBS holder fits just fine with minor filing.
    Also I am not sure you need to secure the primer to the bench: mine is set on a piece of wood just like yours, but I never fasten it to the bench.

    I was always taught drinking and shooting don't mix... So if you drink and reload, does this mean you'll be "HOT" loading....lol just sayin'.

    Love your workbench & t track system. Excellent idea. Could you share how you made the inlay cover for the track? I heard this primer system was problematic, so I turn mine over on my small side table & prime by hand. Very efficient for me.

    • @ReLoadersBench
      @ReLoadersBench  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The inlay covers for the track was trial and error on my table saw to get the height/width just right. Experimented on a few pieces of scrap wood until I found the best fit and then cut/ripped longer pieces so each track had a single inlay/cover. Makes working on the bench more "solid" with the inlays as nothing falls in or sinks into the gaps.

      @@carlsoncarlson7084 - Time for you to just sit down, relax and worry about yourself instead of others.
      Let's look at some of your comments (I'll use numbers, you seem to like them):
      1. "Drinking around guns or ammo". Ummmm, where exactly in this video do you see "guns" or "ammo"? Nowhere, that's where.
      2. "no also smoking around reloading". And just where or what am I smoking during the video?
      Did you SEE ME drink (or smoke)? No you didn't, you just ASSUMED it based on what you saw, heard or think was happening behind the camera, because that's what you wanted it to be. Besides, you have NO IDEA what was in the glass. Typical keyboard critic.
      I know exactly how to use my equipment. More than I can say for the amount of content on your channel I might add.
      Based on your spelling/grammar...I think you've had a drink or two already. Besides your comments I labeled #1 and #2 above, should be follows, not "fellows". You capitalized "Drinking"...not sure why. Also, you used "to" incorrectly, should have been "too" and not "to". Since you mentioned "number 1", there should have been "2", or maybe "number 2" based on your writing style, otherwise there is no reason to number a statement.
      Simple fix, if you don't like the content or how it's presented, feel free to not watch my videos and make assumptions about what I may or may not be don't based on parts of what you see and more importantly DON'T see.
      As far as your original comment of "booze and reloading don't mix well", I'd have to agree. The powder doesn't dissolve in the booze at all, it just swirls around.
