I learned from Crystal how to crochet just before the pandemic started and I have to say CRYSTAL SAVED MY LIFE AND SANITY for that 2 years of lockdowns here in Canada. I have had a couple of friends who wanted me to teach them how to crochet and I always direct them to Bag O Day....Crystal you are the greatest teacher....Thank you for being you.
I experienced a similar way to learn crochet. Initially I learning through Crochet Crowd, which I still enjoy stopping in now and then. But my primary mode of learning is from Cystal as well. She is just terrific!
I'm watching this video on my TV right now but had to come on my phone so I could leave you this message. No, Crystal... we don't want you to stop talking, or turn you off. There's so many of us like you, that LOVE to talk yarn, learn about yarn, see yarn, smell yarn, work with yarn. Keep being you!
Hi, until i started watching you, i thought i am the only one that loves yarn so much and that my grown girls (60+) think its Mama being born during WWII in Germany and having learned to knit and appreciate yarns at a very early age and now she is just a little weird having always yarn around. I wish i was as proficient in crocheting as in knitting. No i am not. Thank you for making me feel normal, whatever normal means. I did teach my Granddaughter, who is 30 to love knitting and she loves her different shades of green. Since i am watching you today, i added shades of brown and beige to my favorite colors. Thanks again ❤
Dralon is supposed to be top of the line Acrylic. It is supposed to even be better than Premium. The reason Ice has so many yarns and why they may be similar to other brands is because they are a Yarn factory. Other yarn companies sell their yarns. The reason their yarn is inexpensive is because they are the factory, not an outlet. You are buying yarn at factory prices.
What a deal! I also love ICE yarn and have never been disappointed with anything I’ve received. I happened to hit when they were clearing out off season yarn the last time I ordered. My grandkids and I are still working it up and crocheting away. Watching you open up the boxes of yarn is so exciting and I know your other followers feel the same way. My kids have excepted the fact they are going to find new yarn when they come to see me. Funny thing though when the grandkids need or want to work on a new project for just about anything to do with crafting they bring them to grandmas house before going anywhere else? I get such a chuckle when that happens. Throughout my life I’ve done ceramics and even got to the point of pouring my own green ware and firing it myself in my kiln. My hope is some day my grandkids will take it up and enjoy using the same tools that their grandma used. It’s so sad some people, the “KARENS” out there are so meanhateful and selfish that they have the right to be so nasty to others. No matter what someone says or does could make them happy. They spend their lives trying to hurt and make other people feel we are guilty for their behavior. You have the absolutely best crochet, yarn talk and tutorials that I’ve ever seen on UTUBE! It doesn’t matter how long you want to talk yarn or laugh or sing! You are like a best friend and always welcome in my home. I laughed out loud when you were excusing your clutter. lol you’re an artist! You have so many amazing talents! Not only can you crochet faster than most of could ever hope to, without a doubt you are the best teacher, you have an ability to break down the crochet stitches to make a person feel like it’s something they can do. I love the way you always say “you can do this? I promise I will show you how easy it is.” Never truer words have been spoken. You have such a beautiful smile and voice that makes me smile and know I can trust you to be there to help me make things I would never try before. Because you have taught me so much I have been able to teach my grandchildren so much more. Funny they opened up a world to me when they taught me about UTUBE and how to use it. I thought them when they were babies sitting on my lap and I was crocheting and their little hands were in mine and we crocheted together. One of my grandsons struggles with mobility and strength with his hands and fingers, he has learned to crochet and in fourth grade took it to school with him. He started to teach other kids in his class. The more that wanted to learn the more supplies he took to school so they would have a hook and a ball of yarn for each kid to practice with. Just a couple of weeks ago his Principal told me by the end of last year more than 30 kids were crocheting at school. He was so proud of my little guy and he also said he learned to crochet from grandma when he was little. Because of your teacher he and my other grandkids are learning stitches that I learned from you! What a precious person you are in our lives. Tonight when you said you were going to make a coat for your baby out of scrubby yarn I laughed out loud. Remember it would hurt you more than him, that yarn is so hard to work with. My family and friends still ask me to make new ones we they need them I too hate that yarn and I have trouble seeing the stitches. Although I’m 74 now and have slowed down I’m just so grateful to still be able to crochet and make my quilts. BYW there is nothing wrong with being a yarn a holic or a fabric a holic! There’s some of the funniest websites for people with the same issue and for their spouses. My kids told me about it and if you ever visit those websites you will need a box of tissues to wipe the tears from laughing so hard. It breaks my heart when someone says mean hurtful and hateful nasty things to you. They must be so unhappy with themselves and get their fix trying to destroy others. They want to take away our happiness any way possible. They feel like they’re owed what others get or have. Sadly more and more of this behavior is happening. Glad you just block them! Love you youngin. Crystal please know how much we love and appreciate your presence in our home and crochet together with us.❤❤🌷🌷
Crystal, thank you so much for all you do for us! I love your tutorials and all your yarn talk! I had never heard of Ice Yarns until I started watching your channel! You are awesome!
Just heard yesterday that my JoAnn is closing. They are restructuring the company I guess. Only walmart left in my town to get yarn so I will have to order yarn more often. Appreciate your yarn videos!
❤😊 Hi Crystal! Very not soft! Make you bleed wool! 😂😂 Love your videos! I never think they are too long. Georgie definitely deserves a cashmere sweater! (Not scrubby!😂) The muffin cakes are so pretty🌈. That mohair would look great with a natural merino! Love the colorway! The Fair Isle yarn works up well on knitting loom. Love the gold puzzle yarn! Beautiful color! With todays prices I think you got a steal at averaging out $3.76 per skein! I really need to order from Ice! Love you! ❤😊
Love your unboxing, beautiful yarns. Why would we turn you off? I’m speaking for myself now when I say, I love listening to you bcuz I learn sooo much from you even when you say, “I’m rambling, I’m rambling”, even the “ramblings” give an insight into what you do are doing or planning, which I think is wonderful. I’ll never turn you off when you’re explaining anything. ❤❤
I am trying diligently to use up my stash and then I see some of these yummy yarns on You Tube and there go my good intentions. i have only had good experiences with Ice Yarn. Thank you for your videos.
I love your videos. Like a visit with a friend. My Chiweenie Johnny has a fleece jacket and a sweater. Once it cools off, he gets his sweater before he goes outside. I don't care what people say. If he is cold, he needs his sweater. Thanks for you videos. They make my day.
Hi dear Crystal🌹, I love Ice yarns and I'm a fan of your Videos. 👍👏 You're right Crystal, the more you buy from Ice yarns, the cheaper the price per ball. All yarns are very pretty. 🤩 Thanks for the sharing and greetings from Germany. 🙋♀️
Mr BOD and Georgie are both afraid of the "scrubbie" garments. Crystal, I love your content. Please don't allow the foul attitudes of other's to affect you so deeply. You are such a kind person and have fostered a genuine and kind community of yarnies and crocheters. Your descriptions make it so that can imagine some of these yarns before I buy them. Your tutorials have really inspired me to create new things for my daughter. I hope someday, I am in a position where I can financially show my support for the channel
Love your yarn videos. No need to apologize for it being long or going off on tangents! Personally i love all those little tangents and stories you share. Thanks for another great video.
No need to apologize for anything. I have learned so much from you about yarns, hooks, and the different weights and companies out there. Looking forward to seeing what you make next.
OMG the cart. I have carts everywhere. Keep talking, and singing, of course, that’s why we watch. Love Juan, thanks for giving him a shout out! People are nuts, if you wanna make a dog sweater and someone doesn’t like it, they don’t need to watch. ‘Do you know ice’s muffin cakes, muffin cakes, muffin cakes”😊 the galaxy cakes are beautiful. Oooooh, that rock n wool! Thanks for all your videos Crystal, your excitement makes my day! NO SCRUBBIE SWEATERS FOR GEORGIE!
Awe, I am so glad you opened our eyes to the cost and value of ice yarns. One day I will purchase from them, it’s my goal for 2024. Thanks for all you do for us lady and for making it all Crystal Clear. 😂
This became your life because you love your life of yarn! WE love your life of yarn and it makes 99.9% of us happy! George just wanted to pick his own yarn 😅
Crystal, I watch your channel for the content on your videos, not the giveaways. I have learned so much about yarns and crochet stitches I didn't even know existed. You are like a video book of knowledge when it comes to crochet and yarns. And you make good fun videos, not all edited like so many that are on UTube. Keep all this yarn, you need it for the tutorials, and we all want to see what they look like made up before we go and buy them. No your videos are never to long, and I will never turn them off until the end. George is like my Yorkie Little Buddie he love to grab my yarn and run away with it. Thank you for this video.
Love your unpacking, I now make notes in my yarn binder on what you buy and what I like so when I order I know what to buy. My Vet's who I make scarves for will love it no matter what.
The one thing about me is that I never look at the prices to any item. I just buy what I like and want. I do like your yarn review. Since I'm a beginner I'm still learning everything that has to do with crocheting.
I love listening to you. You can talk yarn all day long and I’d still be listening. I have no one in my life to talk yarn with so you fill that empty space. Much thanks sweetie. 🙏💛
Always appreciate your showing ICE yarns. When i get on their site, there is so much that I go deer in the headlights. Lol. You help to narrow my focus. 💜🤗
We all need projects, and we love copying you in projects, you are an amazing teacher of stitches and we can make anything after learning your stitches. I appreciate that so much
I loved seeing all these pretty yarns. I laughed when you threatened to make George's sweater out of scrubby and he ran out of the room. I would run, too!
I agree with the ladies we love to hear about yarn no matter how long the video is. Thank You for showing and telling us about it. Hope you’re having a wonderful day.❤
Hi Crystal, loved watching/spending time with you this evening 🥰 I would never turn you off or want you to stop talking to us about yarn or anything!❤ I'm really looking forward to seeing the sweater you make for George. My son has a chihuahua/corgi mix, he gets cold and likes a sweater. In fact he's so small that my son cut the toe off one of those red & gray winter work socks for him & he loves it🥰 His name is Achilles but, he's grandma's little peanut❤🥰❤ I color control cakes like you were talking about. I number them so I know which one goes next before I get started. Love you and I wish you a beautiful blessed day/night 🥰🙏🏻💖
The green/teal/red/white n blue Skein did look like “Christmas” at first glance - but the more I looked at it … the black strand running thru it reminded me of stain glass windows at Church! Love this review. BOD bursting into song 😊😊continues to make me smile!❤❤❤
I swear that I have about half of the yarns that you showed us tonight in my cart Crystal you need to stop saying we need to leave you we all watch you because we love yarn as much as you lol I have nobody to talk yarn with so it’s nice to be a part of the community I need to go add the fuzzy yarn in my cart before I go to bed and forget lol ❤️🇨🇦🧶
I love your videos. You have such a delightful personality. Don't ever change. Those of us who really love you don't care how long your videos are. Please don't apologize for talking. Yes, I get all of your videos. See you in your next video, Crystal, I'll be there.❤
I think the speed that Ice yarns ships is totally worth the price. I ordered a week ago from Lion Brand and it is still saying unfulfilled. My Ice yarn will be here tomorrow. Three and a half days, I think. This is my first order from both companies, so a good comparison. Oh, and my average price per skein was 3.58. So that is really good. About half of what a comparable yarn goes for in the store. I just hope it is what I need for my projects.
Don't apologise for talking so much, I love when you go off on these small tangets or what it's called. There where so many pretty yarns in this haul that it blew my mind completely!!! When I am done with the yarn I just bought I will look at an Ice yarn haul of my own. George sounds like a little rascal 😍 Thank you for the reminder to make new sweaters for my little girl for the winter. The ones from last year is very worn so some new will be made. You are a gem on the internet and I am so very happy I found your channels. Take care and never not be you!
Hi Crystal, Yes can you please do a dog sweater tortial! My dog barely has any hair and definitely needs a sweater for the colder temperatures. Great video too!
I have learned so much from you! I am also addicted to yarn because of you! But I am also addicted to your channel because of you. You personality, knowledge, and tutorials are what keeps people coming back. You are a “person” not just a teacher. Keep doing what you do, the unique way that you do it.
Crystal no need to apologize for being you! I love listening to you while I am crocheting the cocoon sweater! I enjoy your yarn reviews…❤thank you for doing all you do!
Oh my Crystal! Listening to you ramble is one of my favorite things! I don't comment much, but I always listen, beginning to end. And I always cringe when you say we can turn you off. Why would we do that? 💕💕💕
Loved the Ice Yarn haul , Crystal . A lot of pretty colors . George , your Mom won't make a scrubby yarn jacket for you , She loves you to much for that . Love and Hugs .
Thank you!! I like your yarn reviews. I, too, live in a rural area. I am also disabled by a number of things, including narcolepsy. So i do not drive outside of my small town. Disability has not erased my stubborn independent streak, so I abhor asking for rides. I prefer to shop online, and now I feel like an informed customer thanks to your yarn reviews. Your tutorials are amazing!! I like the way you teach! Good for you for doing away with the giveaway contests. I am sure that it drew many toxic personalities. Gifts should never be taken for granted. I was raised very strict in that regard. If a child asked an adult for money or anything other than a drink, snack, etc, we were corrected and told not to go around begging! If we asked someone what they were giving us for our birthday or Christmas, we were told "nothing since you asked" and....received nothing that year. I know that today, it may seem cruel, but it always made sense to me. A gift is something freely given, not a debt that is owed. I wish you love, happiness, and peace of mind!
Crystal you never should feel you have to explain yourself. I knew you would never make Georgie a scrubbie sweater😂. If people can’t roll with a joke well….. I love this channel. You never drag it out, your informative, funny, encouraging, and full of ❤❤. We are lucky to have you and this channel. ❤❤gayle
I'll miss all those crazy giveaways, but you gotta do what you feel is best for you and your channel. And it will hopefully help you get rid of the sour-grapes crowd that have caused you so much heartburn. Beautiful Ice haul! Have a great day. 🐞
Hi Crystal! Thank you for sharing your latest haul. I learn so much on your channel. I’m here for the content, not the giveaways. I love your tutorials; they’re so easy to follow and the yarn talk is the best! 🥰🧶🌈
Awesome and beautiful Yarn Haul. I could definitely use the cakes for a sweater in knit! Love the colors!! Love the rose colors and light brown cakes. Mama's *like me* say stop apologizing and be yourself, young lady!! Love spending time with you!!
I had a dog named Sammy. He was a toy poodle. He loved I mean LOVED 🥰 his sweaters. He had a huge pile of them and liked it when we put his pile of sweaters in front of him and he would pick out which one he wanted and then would galavant around with it in his mouth lolol .CRYSTAL I want to make a blanket for the auction but need your PO Box Number so I can send it after Christmas when my rush is over. Thanks for everything you do 😊🇨🇦🥰
Say Crystal 🥰 … I ALWAYS enjoy listening and watching ALL of your videos!!🤗💗 ~ I grab one of my many WIPs and settle in happily to admire all the new yarns and contemplate what I would crochet with them - thank you!!🤗💝🧶💝
I agree with you about the variegated yarns. There are only certain projects that they work with. My dog, also, likes sweaters but since she stays outside most of the time, she can't wear them as much as she would like and they have to fit right, too. ❤
You mustn’t be so hard on yourself 😊. You’re always telling yourself move on and I’m here for the ride! When I inbox I have nobody to share the excitement so I run to comment to you or Juan. I love sharing in your experience. Those who know know. It’s all about a seratonin boost 😊. I’m just going to find another one of your videos to watch after so no rush. 💜
I like when you keep the yarn and make something with it. It lets us see what the yarn looks like worked up into a pattern. Besides does anyone have much self control when it comes to yarn? I don’t. It’s my weakness. I love that brown mohair.
When we're not able to see, touch, and smell the yarns for ourselves, it is SO helpful to have a video like this! 💗 (I'm still hoping that they will come out with a Picasso Rainbow Cake!)
I'm sitting here looking through the Ice website while watching you. I died when you told George you'd use scrubby yarn!😂😂😂 You talk to your dogs like I do! You KNOW they understand us!!
Loving the Anatolia wool! Thanks for showing it on this video. My dog is the anatolian shepherd from Anatolia turkey. His ancestors probably guarded the sheep that were used to make the yarn.
Hey there!!! I have watched so many of your videos! I’ve heard you apologize about your clock, your dogs, or even you talking a lot. I just want you to know all of these things are endearing to me. These things are some of the reasons I watch you! You doing all these things shows us who you are, you are REAL. We love you for who you are! Keep on being YOU! ❤❤.
I love the cakes with the shades of brown and gray, etc. I also learned a while back that taupe is my favorite color, along with others, but I love taupe. You got a lot of beautiful yarn.
Crystal i have been watching you for years. I learned so much from you. I have expanded my comfort zone and have made so many items I never would have attempted. I love all the ice yarns. My cart is full. Will have to narrow down some choices. Lol
Oh lord here we go. I feel like I'm about to go diving into the couch cushions for yarn money. Absolutely LOVE ice yarns. Such a great deal!
Hope we don't bump heads while we dive under your couch cushions together lol there's no money in my couch-already looked
Love this, it’s so true.

Hi precious. Thumbs up 89 today! I am excited to see this Ice Yarn! Love it... thanks for sharing all this yarny Love.
Crystal, thank you so much for all you do for us! I love your tutorials and all your yarn talk! I had never heard of Ice Yarns until I started watching your channel! You are awesome!
I just HAD to buy some of the muffins...three different colorways and two packs of each! You are such an enabler... 😂
The “busy” yarn would make a great blanket.
Just heard yesterday that my JoAnn is closing. They are restructuring the company I guess. Only walmart left in my town to get yarn so I will have to order yarn more often. Appreciate your yarn videos!
That blanket is an eye catcher for sure

The Puzzle wool (the color) you chose I am in love with! LOVE IT so much. I am falling in Love with that color! Gemmi Gemmi Gemmi LOL.
Love your yarn videos. No need to apologize for it being long or going off on tangents! Personally i love all those little tangents and stories you share. Thanks for another great video.
We all lack self-control with yarn, you are not😢 alone. The galaxy yarn with the blue and green and brown is gorgeous. I also love the brown one
No need to apologize for anything. I have learned so much from you about yarns, hooks, and the different weights and companies out there. Looking forward to seeing what you make next.

You got some beautiful yarns. You should make something using the brown variegated. Hat/cowl set would be real nice.
I didn't realise we had ice yarns in the UK love the look of the Anatolia wool acrylic blend so many beautiful colours 😍
Hi Crystal, loved watching/spending time with you this evening 🥰 I would never turn you off or want you to stop talking to us about yarn or anything!❤
I'm really looking forward to seeing the sweater you make for George. My son has a chihuahua/corgi mix, he gets cold and likes a sweater. In fact he's so small that my son cut the toe off one of those red & gray winter work socks for him & he loves it🥰 His name is Achilles but, he's grandma's little peanut❤🥰❤
I color control cakes like you were talking about.
I love your sense of humor and you’re down to earth attitude. No wonder I’ve learned so much from you.
I love talking about yarn with you.
Love the rainbow yarn 🎉
I think the giveaways are nice, but I honestly watch you for your tutorials. That’s where I learn! ❤️💖
I have learned so much from you! I am also addicted to yarn because of you! But I am also addicted to your channel because of you. You personality, knowledge, and tutorials are what keeps people coming back. You are a “person” not just a teacher. Keep doing what you do, the unique way that you do it.
I love that brown mohair, you pick beautiful colors
That was really fun! Thanks for sharing 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾
Fuzzy yarn makes it more soft and fluffier.
Loved the Ice Yarn haul , Crystal . A lot of pretty colors . George , your Mom won't make a scrubby yarn jacket for you , She loves you to much for that . Love and Hugs .
Those rainbow cakes would make a beautifull retro poncho.
I love Ice yarn, and I have you to think for finding out about them... Thank you so much Crystal
Thank you for continuing to show us what you get! We are thankful!!
Your yarn reviews are like visiting with a best friend ❤
Love your yarn reviews Crystal! Thank you! 🧶
❤❤gayle
The brown cake is beautiful 😊
I'll miss all those crazy giveaways, but you gotta do what you feel is best for you and your channel.
And it will hopefully help you get rid of the sour-grapes crowd that have caused you so much heartburn.
Beautiful Ice haul!
Have a great day. 🐞
I love to listen to you. You can get so excited about the yarn. I never leave the yarn unboxing.
Hi Crystal! Thank you for sharing your latest haul. I learn so much on your channel. I’m here for the content, not the giveaways. I love your tutorials; they’re so easy to follow and the yarn talk is the best! 🥰🧶🌈
Thanks Crystal for sharing your unboxing of Ice yarn. The yarn you choose is so beautiful. Have a wonderful day.♥️
It's always nice to see your warm smile. I love that beautiful mohair yarn.
Awesome and beautiful Yarn Haul. I could definitely use the cakes for a sweater in knit! Love the colors!! Love the rose colors and light brown cakes. Mama's *like me* say stop apologizing and be yourself, young lady!! Love spending time with you!!
I just love watching you. I have learned so much about yarn and crochet from Crystal. Thank you for just being you.
Thanks for everything you do 😊🇨🇦🥰
Ohhh I have the galaxy cakes in the rainbow colorway from one of your last ones. I'm dying to see if you do something wirh it. I need ideas
I got ice in a bagoday mystery box and I like what I got. 3 diff shades of browns. I’m making a wrap with it
I just realized that I buy yarns to make blankets for your chair, too, lol!!! I'm a burgundy, rose, ivory, and beige fan!
Say Crystal 🥰 … I ALWAYS enjoy listening and watching ALL of your videos!!🤗💗 ~ I grab one of my many WIPs and settle in happily to admire all the new yarns and contemplate what I would crochet with them - thank you!!🤗💝🧶💝
Nice Ice Yarns!! Thank you for sharing/talking all about the yarns with us!!
I agree with you about the variegated yarns. There are only certain projects that they work with. My dog, also, likes sweaters but since she stays outside most of the time, she can't wear them as much as she would like and they have to fit right, too. ❤
Wow that mohair is gorgeous!! And Crystal, there are lots of us out here that love Brown. Such a luscious color & it can be accented with any color!
You breaking out into random song lyrics is why I love watching you!
I'm sitting here looking through the Ice website while watching you. I died when you told George you'd use scrubby yarn!😂😂😂 You talk to your dogs like I do! You KNOW they understand us!!
Saver yarn looks just like I love this yarn.
Very nice! Im a big fan of the natural and muted colors in your haul! 😊🧶
The busy yarn with the black running through it reminds me of a stained glass window.
A scrubby sweater, you crack me up!! Love your unboxing and review videos. Always a great help and a reminder of yarn websites that I forget about.
That mohair yarn would make a great sweater for George. 🧶🩷
Love it all but that rainbow yarn ! I love when you sing lol ❤❤❤❤❤❤. Nice haul ❤❤❤
Lol
