It wasn't the mature content, it was that Invader Zim was a ridiculously expensive cartoon that they thought would become a massive hit, and it wasn't. They were hoping for a Spongebob, but what they got was a hipster cartoon that people go "Oh yeah, that was a pretty good cartoon," but it doesn't sell merchandise like Spongebob or Fairly Oddparents, which is a serious problem if it's the most expensive cartoon on the network to make.

Honestly, that depends on the person. The Switch Version of Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3 can’t even run at 60fps, that is my big problem. But I still have a few Kart racers and platformers, not just the popular ones, and I still enjoy Mario, though the latest entry of Mario Kart should beat out 8 Deluxe, Which hopefully will end with a bang.
I don't know how to break this to you, but kids are more likely to buy something with Jojo Siwa on the cover. Rugrats is over 30 years old and doesn't air anymore. They also don't have the millennial appeal characters like Zim and Jenny do (when it comes to playing as them). Characters like Zim and Jenny were also in the fighting game they released recently alongside other old characters. While a Rugrats character was in the game, it was just reptar, not any of the babies. They might be trying to keep some cohesion in their rosters, for whatever reason?

Even if the mechanics of the game were actually polished, there's not a world where this game is worth 50$. Same thing happened with the Smash clone. One reason the playerbase died fast in that game was because it was too expensive for the content it presented and compared with its competitors in general. What a way to destroy a reputation.
For the game itself, including DLC, I’d say it would have to be $35/£35 at most, hopefully they can fix it, because I would really like to have a go on it.

They didn't have any voice acting at all, it was extremely soulless. The AI was also either braindead or impossible to beat depending on the mode. Just not a well made game, probably was made in less than 2 years
Tag team racing is not a very good cart racer lol. You can win without even having to drive the cart. I won’t say I didn’t have fun with it as a kid though but that doesn’t make it good especially when you compare it to the other crash racers.

We let GameMill fool us with one hastily made smash bros clone and now they permanently got us by the balls. They're a shovelware company, I wish the gaming community would realize that. They aren't interested in making fleshed out, high quality products.
For a first game into platform fighters, I think Nick did a good job. Fix the online and add a few story things, then it's a good game. It's a pretty decent start.

This reminds me of that one Shrek racing game from years ago in terms of how repetitive the voice clips are. Just because you can ahve characters speak, doesn't mean you always should... especially not using the same voice clip.
Honestly for the first half an hour I just think he doesn't pay attention to shit. Character keeps looking behind him when somethings about to hit him. and picking a bike thats made for better handling but trying to constantly drift, then refusing to drift on a cart is stupid.
I think the power ups that come to hit you from behind are invisible or something on your screen for some reason. That’s all I can think of. If that is why that’s s9em terrible design lol

Kart racers just suck nowadays. They're either super cheap or the people that make them have never played great kart racers like Crash Team Racing, Sega AllStars Transformed, or Mario Kart. Sonic Riders, while not being a kart racer, also had things that made it really good.
This is a combination of bad mechanics or at least badly implemented ones, bugs, and charlie failing to drift effectively, but even when he does it doesn't look like it helps much tbh.

I still can't believe that in this day and age so many racing games from big/well known companies are shit, there are a lot of good examples of racing games (the first one that comes to my mind is Jak X Combat Racing, and that's quite old already). Not only that but for 50? no way.

I don't understand the coins. You can only get up to 10 when you finish a track, but if you finish before the 2nd player, your character still goes around the track without you controlling it. The character can hit things and lose coins and it's totally out of your control. Doesn't seem fair.
They were, that same race they all bullied tf outta Charlie and he didn't notice at all. Like, why else would so many players randomly stop in the middle of the track, without being hit, until he passes them, then all of a sudden he spins out like crazy lol.

But it's weird because they love saying that every kart racer is just a Mario Kart clone, yet they want them to play exactly like it at the same time. If it does play like Mario Kart, it's a clone. There are motor sounds. They're just overshadowed by every other sound effect from either the items or the characters constantly talking.

Part 2 is actually an excellent kart racer from a mechanical and content standpoint.
The 2nd its actually pretty good im having fun playing and put tons of hour in it. Got it on sale for only 10 dollars on xbox

Kart racers just suck nowadays. They're either super cheap or the people that make them have never played great kart racers like Crash Team Racing, Sega AllStars Transformed, or Mario Kart. Sonic Riders, while not being a kart racer, also had things that made it really good.
Spongebob: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated is cheaper and superior to this.... thats pretty tragic.
Just picked this up on sale for 15 bucks. For that price I’m enjoying it actually. Definitely would hate myself if I bought it full price tho😂

This is a combination of bad mechanics or at least badly implemented ones, bugs, and charlie failing to drift effectively, but even when he does it doesn't look like it helps much tbh.
Also Charlie ignores the mechanics, coins AND Slime charge your Y. Regardless the game is obviously trash anyway lol.

I still can't believe that in this day and age so many racing games from big/well known companies are shit, there are a lot of good examples of racing games (the first one that comes to my mind is Jak X Combat Racing, and that's quite old already). Not only that but for 50? no way.
Jak X is in my top 10. Such a good game I still play today. I bought it on the PS4 since my ps2 slim messed up my disk.

Some people can be brutal to Mario Kart, but to me, if Mario Kart can have a good reboot, I may start getting interested in it again, I’d make a video if a 4th game was in development, with a much more stable frame rate on Switch!
That's the thing with the gaming community. They think every kart racer is trash and that the Mario Kart series is the only thing out there. They've been carrying this mindset for years and they'll continue it in the future.

I'm not surprised he hated it. A lot of gamers have a hate boner for other kart racing games. Especially Mario Kart fans. Plus, he sucks at the game. People are so conditioned to just liking Mario Kart that when they play any other kart racer, it's going to feel inferior to them.

Honestly the voice acting makes this game worse.
I don't understand the coins. You can only get up to 10 when you finish a track, but if you finish before the 2nd player, your character still goes around the track without you controlling it. The character can hit things and lose coins and it's totally out of your control. Doesn't seem fair.

This game isn't that bad, It has some great character choices... mostly and the gameplay can be fun.
It's really not bad. He just sucks at it. Tbh, a lot of people just suck at playing other kart racers. I notice when they do play other kart racing games, they don't know what the hell they're doing. I saw people play Mysims Racing and Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled. They think the game is supposed to play exactly like Mario Kart, and when they find out that it doesn't, it's considered a bad game. But it's weird because they love saying that every kart racer is just a Mario Kart clone, yet they want them to play exactly like it at the same time. If it does play like Mario Kart, it's a clone. If it doesn't play like Mario Kart, it's still a clone. It just doesn't make sense.
