This reminds me of Paper Mario Color Splash as there was a SMB3 section that you can use Huey to make it 3D. That was probably my favorite part of Color Splash

Fun fact: SMB3 was originally supposed to look like a 3D game, but was scrapped early on. The black and white tiles on the floor are leftover from the original idea.

The World map actually looks like a Cardboard Box, with the raised border.
Also, many sprites have their outlines removed to support the 3D aesthetics.

Super Mario Bros 3 is my favorite Mario game so this was soo fun to watch
I have nothing to say except THIS. IS. AWESOME!
That's pretty neat. I'm a little disappointed that 3DSENVR doesn't seem to officially support anythings besides PC VR headsets though, according to its Steam listing. So, I'm not sure how you guys got it running outside of a VR environment, though I assume that it was through some kind of mod. Personally, I think it's a shame that the devs don't expand the ways their software can be used. I have a 3DTV, believe it or not, and I think it would be pretty cool to be able to play NES games in 3D that way. It can't be that difficult to add this feature. Just display the two images side by side and I can put my TV in side by side mode to designate the sides for my left or right eye. I also have a Gear VR headset and think it would be super cool to use their software on that too, though I understand it would technically be a separate app. I know the software is still in the development phase though, so hopefully we'll get more options later on.
I just open the program and play it without VR. No mods

10:29 you did get the card game, it's behind the screen for some reason... you can see it for a split second during the transition... I don't know why you didn't get it when you moved onto that spot later, does it move around between turns?
I edited out the card game part. But yah we found it, still works normal
