I love these videos of athletes trying each other's sports. No real competitiveness, just fun and excitement at trying something new, seeing someone do the thing you do, and learning from each other. • @qt_stacy
      @qt_stacy 21 วันที่ผ่านมา

absolutely. she would need to literally train her upper body disproportionately to the rest of her body just to successfully balance herself in a semi-handstand/semi-plank on wide arms. it’s hard for men with their center at the shoulders but given how well defined her muscles are & within her center of gravity - it’s prolly best for it to stay impossible lol

Here’s a cookie recipe for you
    Things you’ll need:
    -parchment paper
    -cooling rack
    -pan
    Ingredients:
-2 and 1/3 cups of all purpose flour
-1 cup and 2 tablespoons of dark brown sugar
    -1/2 cup regular granulated sugar
    -Lindt chocolate bar/ chocolate chips
    -two bars of unsalted butter
    -a teaspoon of baking soda
    -1/2 teaspoon of salt
    -2 room temperature eggs
    -1 tablespoon vanilla extract
    topping ingredients:
    -korse salt
    Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°, brown your butter, put them in a pan let them melt (medium heat) stirring constantly (DO NOT LEAVE PAN) it will start to change to a golden color wait about 10-20 seconds longer until it gets to a medium brown, dump into container wait till it gets room temperature. Add flour into a separate container (make it even), add the baking soda in with the flour, add the salt in with the flour and baking soda, whisk together, put to side, in a separate bowl add the dark brown sugar, regular sugar, once the butter is room temp add in with the sugars (should be kinda solid), add vanilla extract to sugars and butter, stir up really really well, till it’s light and fluffy, scrape sides till it’s all in the middle of bowl, add in your eggs with the sugar and stuff, stir up, should be very light and fluffy, scrape off sides, add in dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, salt), stir up well, just mix until you see the flour anymore, if you use bars chop them up then add them in, if you used chocolate chips add those in your your desired amount, get a pan and put parchment paper on it, grab a ice cream scooper and scoop up your desired amount of dough onto the baking sheet, space apart so they don’t bake together, put in for 8-10 minutes but watch them and when they start getting brown around the ends take them out, or stick a toothpick them and if batter is on the toothpick cook for longer.
    toppings optional:
a pinch of korse salt in each cookie

As a gymnast for 8 years, v-holds are fairly easy, but you need the right posture and muscle build to pull one off. I’m very bottom heavy (my legs are like over half of my body and very muscular 😭) and I have decent core muscles so a lot of times I’d just fall forward when I tried at home. (I didn’t do male gymnastics by the way.) What really helps to learn it is lemon squeezers! (I think that’s what they’re called?) So, basically, you go into a pike, lean back, raise your legs around 45°, and stick your arms out straight to about the height of your knees/the back of your knees. Bend your legs so your knees go to your chest and keep your arms straight, and repeat that as much as you can on a daily basis to build your core. Then, all you have to do is repeat that skill on there and you’re good to go! It takes a while, again, depending on your build, but they can get fairly easy!
What I recommend for Ian is to straighten his back and work his core out more. From the looks of it, his core is extremely strong, but they was he is built muscularly calls for a bit more core strength.
In conclusion: gymnastics are hard but over time will get better and easier the more you practice. (and definitely with a coach!!)
