- "That's the Way (I Like It)" is a song written by H. W. (KC) Casey and Richard Finch. It was recorded and published in 1975 by KC and the Sunshine Band for its second album. At the time, this song was considered by some to be rather risqué because of the obvious meaning behind the title as well as its chorus with multiple "uh-huhs" and its verses. The song became a huge world wide hit. I edited the song a bit (cutting, copying, pasting, restructurering and adjusting the tempo a little) as well as the video clip.

It’s 12 midnight, I’m 70 years old and should be in bed but here I am tapping my feet listening to the beat of KC and the Sunshine Band. The song takes me back to happier times.
Have you seen Casey lately, he weighs about 400 pounds and looks like he's going to have triplets. It's scary. . I guess his meals are the way he likes it. LOL
@@tracykingston9668 Yes, I saw him on a video and didn’t even recognize him. I thought he was someone else 😳. Indeed, he’s got the biggest belly and most likely has a fatty liver. I saw KC and his band several times back in the day on both coasts and this was one energetic and great sounding live group folks, the rhythm, the dynamic poses, those tight horns and great lyrics by KC always rocked the arena, it's the music of my young adult evolution and this vid brings back some great memories of my late teens and early 20s, just wonderful and positive music!!! 📌😀💯

Yep, 6am until 9pm on a daily event in the later 70s, my 2 younger nieces & I reheared K.C. & the Sunshine Band in the living room. Drove mother to a reckless ball of nerves, but to this very day, 2023, we still jam to all of his songs.❤

I was 9 years old in 1975. I drove my mother crazy playing the 45 rpm over and over again. I was Disco crazy a year before and now have a massive collection of 7,000+ vinyl records. Today's music is a good for nothing piece of junk!

I was a kid in the 70's. I can still see my older brother. Blasting this song on a eight track on our way to school. He had this nice Camero. It was on a K-tel eight track. Boy was it a cool ride to school!
