i have the 1.9 tdi model, its done 67000 miles since i bought it new, its had a clutch, 2x turbos, 3x water pumps, alternator, 2x starter motors (blue motion) drive shaft, exhaust with cat, fuel injectors, countless sensors, and now the gearbox is stuck in 3rd gear.
Always serviced and maintained by main dealer, never driven aggressivly and yet i have spent over £9000 in parts and labour for a £16000 van not including the usuall parts like tyres brakes and servicing.
so what ever you save on fuel is insignificant, you will spend thousands more on parts, basically buying the van new and doing less then 70000 miles will cost you well over £28000 not including fuel so nice advert but thats all, the truth is it will kill your wallet, you have been warned
