    Thx for reviewing and explaining... very helpful especially to see them mounted to the bike.

    I own a pair of Oxford Sovereign panniers since 1996 & they are still like new & have been used in all sorts of British weathers.

      Hey can I mount these on a street naked bike and do you need some type of rack for these ?? I ride a 2022 mt 09

    These bags are the only choice for myself. I pack light weight and like to stay narrow on my adventure rides as Im constantly exploring more challenging routes. I've tried a hard box, a soft frame system and the result was for my type of off road exploring these are perfect. Combined with a dry bag top, 35 ltr and my tank bag I have a perfect, light weight, soft, cheap set up for both my 790 adventure and my 350 excf. The expansion zipper has been made much better as, yes, my old bags would sag when expanded, these do not.

    I use the x50 model on an R1 2001 with high exhaust. I have had any heating issues. I love these bags

    Zips break around the corners after 5-6 months if these are being used daily and carefully. Probably less if you are not a careful person

    Would have liked to have seen more inside the bags and around the bags, and them being fitted, quite a poor review from that perspective IMHO.

    I'm looking to use the Oxford P50R paniers on a Yamaha FZ8-N. Can someone advise if they will fit comfortably on this bike without any risk of hitting the back wheel ?

  • @amandagriffiths9856
    @amandagriffiths9856 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

    They look really good, but about the single zip, does that mean there is no way to lock these bags?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You could lock that single zip to another fixed point on the bags / bike. But your safest bet is removing them from the bike. Most thefts will just slash through soft bags with a knife and go around a zipper lock.

      Yes. Just make sure that the connecting straps are adjusted so that the saddlebags sit high enough above the exhaust. -DrewZilla

    Since I'm riding with a pillion and those 2 straps over the rear seat would be annoying for her, do you reckon I can use all the straps under the seat? Thanks

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It really depends on your specific bike. We are unable to test it on a lot of bikes, so you would have to try for yourself. You could also mock something up you already have to see if straps would fit under the seat. -DrewZilla

    What size were the saddlebags on the Multistrada and what how much bigger in inch is the p60 vs p50, is it only wider? Thanks.

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Had to look really closely, but they're the P50R. Based on the following dimensions, you can see that width is almost the same, but length and height are 1.5-2 inches different. Hope this helps! -DrewZilla
      P50R: 17.7" L x 11" W (14.5" W expanded) x 11" H (www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/oxford-p50r-saddlebags)
      P60R: 19.7" L x 11.8" W (15.3" W expanded) x 12.6" H (www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/oxford-p60r-saddlebags)

    • @RevZilla

      For any others, I found it too close to my DL1000 exhaust.

  • @wrczane
    @wrczane 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Mmm, that bit about going tying it down below/through the passenger seat. How does that apply fitting it to a Honda NC 750? Keeping in mind the refueling spot on that particular bike?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We don't have one here to test, but just looking at photos, I might run the front strap underneath the seat just aft of the fuel filler cap surround and then run the rear strap over top of the plastic piece behind the passenger seat. That's really a difficult bike for fitting soft luggage. -DrewZilla

    • @wrczane
      @wrczane 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RevZilla Thanks for the feedback. Yeah the NC750 is a great all round bike in general, but Honda didn't really think that fuel filling point through. With a bit of effort, I'm sure Honda could have given it the same set-up as the GS800. But anyway

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, a side filler would have been easier to use. -DrewZilla

    Would anything happen if these ran close to my exhaust? I have a aftermarket can and it hangs quite high, so it may sit close to the exhaust. Could you point me towards something else that may be better suited?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it's very likely you'd melt these saddlebags with a high mount exhaust. You might consider a tail bag instead. -DrewZilla

    I just got the p50s, fit beautifully on my 97 suzuki bandit. It also came with 2 waterproof bags, fantastic! But how or can I fit them on when they are attached to the bike. I'm not seeing a way

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The waterproof bag liners are designed to fit inside each saddlebag, so that your contents stay dry. -DrewZilla

    Which size would you recommend for a Kawasaki Vulcan S?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Due to the open fender shape, I can only recommend the F1 Small Saddlebags. Larger saddlebags are likely to sit too low and are more prone to interfere with the rear wheel and swingarm. We do recommend you find some saddlebag supports to limit that movement. -DrewZilla

    Will these bags be fine on a Honda CMX 500 (p60) or so you think it's too close to the exhaust?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Since the exhaust comes up a bit on the right side, yes, the right side bag will likely sit too close to the exhaust. -DrewZilla

    • @RevZilla

      If you can afford them, Kriega's bags are very secure and sit above tail. That way, they don't interfere with the exhaust. Otherwise, any bigger sport tail bag could work. -DrewZilla
