I had a great idea last night and it worked! I went to my local dry cleaner and asked if I could buy clothes from him that people don’t pick up. He said yes! All I have to do is pay the dry cleaning fee. I asked him to keep an eye out for a few of my favourite lines. He was happy because at least he gets his dry cleaning fee back and I am happy because it is usually very good clothes that people drop off.

Yes!!!! There are dry cleaners in LA who have racks of clothes they are selling that people never picked up!!!

Glad to see that I’m no the only one seeing Prices at the DI go up lately!! A lot of things are the same as EBay prices and sometimes even more! Being a donated item the prices should be WAY lower so people that shop there for their families can actually afford it.

Your thrift prices are so amazing! Goodwills in Oregon would have all those tops around $12.99 and up and jeans are $14.99 and up! Such sticker shock watching this thrift haha 😂

Life is about balance. Mixing the diet and regular, always my treat after a thrifting trip. Just started in November, and if I learned anything so far, it's knowing the gut feeling to leave an item is 99% accurate.

Wow I'd be so thrilled to find even half of the brands you picked up! Where I live I'm lucky if I find J. Crew, AEO, etc. It's mostly all Kohls, Walmart brands, JCP, etc. So yeah, I'll never be able to "thrift like a pro" unless I board a plane......

Just watching you from the west of Ireland (mayo) I love ur vids and while here you can get some bargains they’re nothing like you get. The prices have gone up and it’s so inconsistent like I paid €10 for a Ralph Lauren dress and there was a pennys/primark dress for €10 too. It was probably new in pennys for €10!! Amodex ink remover works really well! I use it all the time as a seller of vintage. Like on old vintage 1930s to 70s. Gentle but effective.

Love watching your videos. I thrift but just for me. I discovered 2 brands I had not heard of before. It doesn't appear they resale for a lot but brand new, the cost is ridiculous. Just Black which is made in the USA and American Vintage. Super soft jeans. I paid $2-4 for the American Vintage and $4-5 for Just Black. Both only resale for $20-30s but brand new $100+.
When are you gonna do your next whatnot show? I always seem to miss them😢
The top that you couldn’t make out the brand was TBags Los Angeles. I think they are out of business, but it was a fairly high end brand.

It seems to me like Good will is super aware now too of what is selling and for how much, and they Jack the price right up..My daughter loves thrifting, and is a bomb stylus...She used to be able to find super cute things to resell..but everything that the kids want the store is also Jacking the price up..Its a bummer :(

I found some Coach gold sneakers at the thrift for about $12 that online sells from $115-$285. They looked nice at first glance but when I looked closer the sides were stained a little and they kinda look like they stain easy,. The inside also looked like it was sown weird, or the inside seam was torn so it was like your feet would not be supported because the soles stuck out and upwards. Idk how to describe it better but it looked a bit off. I was real hesitant because it looked to be still in season. But also, the ratings on these particular shoes were 3-3.5 star so I was like, "Bummer! I don't think this would sell." But also, I'd rather sell a good quality cheap pair than a worn and torn designer/Popular brand. So that was a bit disappointing.
