I also feel blue has always made her feel so much more unique/flattering and ties into the nightime/sleepy vibe of hers, it gives her more character specificity, making her not just any other blonde in pink i.e. Barbie. Blue team forever 💙👑🥀
I am also on team blue dress. I think the blue variant matches better with her skin tone & hair. My ideal Disney princess lineup is: Cinderella: silver dress & strawberry blond hair Aurora: Blue dress Ariel: Pink dress but with the colours/tones that were selected for her for her 3d model. I always liked her pink dress and Red and Pink can work really well together if you use the right shade. everyone else in the line up remains the same
The last 17 inch Le looks better in person. Like the dress lays so much better. And the fabric on the dress really does look more blue from some angles then more pink from others. It’s one of my fave fabrics (I literally have two jackets made from it, one being reversible and they look phenomenal in good lighting) I wad surprised with how much better she looks in person tbh.
Yes team blue dress forever!! You’re not crazy, the exact same doll looks sooo much better in blue! I think the Harrods and the other ones look exactly the same to me. With the Disney parks one, I believe the pink one was available for one year and then the blue one was available a year later (it does get super confusing with Aurora dolls though!) I couldn’t remember if you liked the first Ultimate Princess Celebration Aurora doll and I’m glad you do, I really like her too 😊 and then there’s the second one 😳 Poor Aurora, it does seem she has quite a few rough dolls! I’m looking forward to your Mulan/Pocahontas video 😄
I ALMOST agree fully with your order! Only thing I'd change is the 65th and Ultimate - Swap them round! I love the 65th, I really like them combining the pink and blue and blending into purple! She also has the prettiest face and such beautiful embroidery!
I feel like even her regular dolls are rough... I feel like I've never seen a truly accurate face mold for her and they constantly make her too much like cinderella in my opinion
Aurora and Cindy are the two biggest victims of the Disney long-face syndrome, i can’t even understand why they would make their faces so long and narrow.
So with the Harrod's dolls those are indeed different! They came as a set and were a very small edition size (literally like 100) and you can tell actually that there's much more detail and a bigger skirt. Harrod's is basically a luxury department store like Saks here stateside and it's located in London. I believe they used to have a special Disney Store at the time and that's why Disney collaborated with them for some Limited Edition dolls (they have a pretty infamous Anna and Elsa set as well). You should've actually reviewed the next two because those were the general release dolls for Disney Store (worldwide) and they were released separately. The pink version was the bigger release (the 55th anniversary), done at the same time as Maleficent and Prince Phillip but then the doll community got surprised by the release of a blue variant with a slightly smaller edition size a few months later to conincide with the new BluRay release I believe. With the two parks dolls, the Disneyland 60th came first, back in 2015. Not the best executed but still cute and felt more intentional since her jewelry is silver/plaitnum to match the color for 60. The Diamond Castle collection doll was definitely a cheap recolor done in like 2019 I think? That one is ugly. I've never liked it.
Aurora is my favorite princess and I’m extremely picky, with that being said I have the 65th anniversary and she’s honestly better in person. The details are stunning and the skirt is actually a decent fabric and it shifts color depending on how the light hits it. the dress is a nod to her earlier concept art and it’s not bad, I constantly take her out of her box and pose her, the harrods dolls were released at the same time the blue and pink versions were just an upscale version of dolls previously released in the white boxes
A few standouts but why do so many of them seem to be playline quality? The purple iridescent fabric one I'm wondering if it looks better in real life as you might be able to see the colour switch from pink to blue perhaps.
I feel like the D23 Midnight Masquerade dolls were a little cheapened because they had to split the quality between two dolls instead of one. Tbh I feel like the singular DS releases were executed much better (Giselle and Edward were the exception)
I also feel mostly nothing about most LE Aurora dolls. I get what they were going for but the designs most of the time don't captivate me. Will Mulan be next?
-That first doll is so ugly what the hell. How do you miss the bangs being so uneven in a stock photo like that??? And the dress is just a piece of fabric! -I respect the Harrods (?) one for the detail and apparent quality, though it's a little much for my tastes. Still, she's gorgeous and I like that they went that far to design not one but two dolls with that level of detail. I do like the blue much better in this case. I feel that the cool tones make the dress feel less crowded. Overall not my all time favorite but still very beautiful -Damn. I love the idea for that casual dress but the execution is.....rough. The corset is cute in theory but it's so ill-fitting. The overskirt is cute but I feel the underlayer's pattern clashes/distracts from the rest of the look too much, even though the pattern is pretty. Her hair is lying weird too. She deserved so much better, honestly. -Ick, I hate the cap sleeves on the next two. Overall this doll is not giving "collector" vibes to me....like, I know gloves are hard on a doll's scale, but if they're going to go the fingerless route, I'd prefer it if the fabric they used was a silkier one so they don't look like arm-warmers as much. It doesn't fit the ballroom aesthetic very well. Plus, again with the stock photos. How did they miss that one of them on the blue variant is riding up so much?? -....Is the one pictured with Maleficent sitting down or something?? That skirt shape is really weird. I like the top though, and the jewelry. Also, they shaped her curls very nicely. Sleeves leave something to be desired, though. -WOW!!!! The 60th anniversary one is gorgeous!!!!! Head to toe. I especially love the skirt with the asymmetry, lace, and embroidery. Absolutely stunning. Same with the wedding dress. She looks fantastic. Two thumbs up. -Ew. That masquerade look is rough. The gaudy colors and fabric choices make this look like cheap ren fair costume. I think the concept could've worked if they'd workshopped it more, but this feels slapped together and weird. Where is her crown?? She looks weird without it. I do think it's cool that they referenced her necklace in the belt, though. -I forgot the name of the next doll line, but wow is she beautiful. I love the dark colors and the gradient. I think this is a more successful interpretation of some of the concepts the masquerade doll was going for. Her hair is gorgeous, her face is clearly her own but with a little bit of a twist to it (just like the outfit), and I love the silhouette of the dress. Personally I would go without the little crown piece on her chest but that's fine, she's still gorgeous. -But that second look....damn. I like the butterfly headpiece, and I get the feeling they were trying to reference the look of briars vines with her hair, but it doesn't look good imo. The wild hair paired with the robe makes her look like she's in a bathrobe still getting ready for her day to me. There's too much going on. I think some moderation and more attention to a defined silhouette would have made this doll really interesting. -Ooo, I remember when that last doll came out. I thought about buying her, despite not usually being interested in Disney dolls or collector's dolls of any brand. I think she's stunning. I love the stained-glass motif as well as what they did with the colors. I wish that panel of fabric going down the middle of her skit wasn't off-center, but still. I don't love her quite as much as I did the first time I saw her, but I still think she's beautiful. Lol, I had to give my opinions on these as if I were in the livestream, because I would've loved to be there. I had a fabulous night out though, so it was worth it. Also, damn that shirt you're wearing is epic! With the necklace to match??? Love it! (Oh and btw I agree Sleeping Beauty is a wonderful movie and quite underrated. It's been one of my favorites since I was a kid.)

I like it when they do pink and blue together, personally
That was always my favorite part of the movie

I’m waiting for the day aurora gets a green dress
Now THAT would be interesting

Aurora is either my favorite or 2nd favorite princess! So excited for you to rank her dolls you always have such entertaining vids!

Just started the video, but I love your outfit!! Especially with the black lip. Stellar
Thank you!!
Omg i really like your shirt!!
Thank you!
Some of your takes in this video are wild to me but this is one of the reasons I like your channel so I can’t be mad 😂
Aurora and Cindy are the two biggest victims of the Disney long-face syndrome, i can’t even understand why they would make their faces so long and narrow.
So true. I think the Ultimate Princess one looked really pretty in the promo pics. But I just googled real photos and her face is sooo long. 😭
Heyyyyy!! This is going to be good I've been waiting for u to do Aurora Ranking!! So excited for this one. Hope all is well!!🎉❤
Yay it's here!!! She's my favorite princess!!

1st doll looks like Cinderella, I agree she doesn't look like Aurora

It’s really funny to me how a lot of the princesses in the designer collection look like “this is what happened after they got a divorce”. 😂
I loved Aurora as a kid because she was what my mum looked like to me :')
That’s so sweet omg
That last doll’s purple shades skirt really seems to be mimicking stained glass.
Could you please do the frozen girls next
They’re going to get done but I’m doing the proper princesses first!
Blue aurora 💙 team

It's so sad they always give here yellow hair, just like Cinderella. Aurora is supposed to be ash-blond and Cinderella strawberry blond
Im team pink dress I’m sorryyyyyy
I guess I can forgive you /j
You and me both

Yup, her and Pocahontas are getting a double feature
