    The only thing that helps me drink more water is to fill a bottle first thing and have it alongside whatever else I'm drinking. So, basically I can drink as much tea (or whatever else) as I like as long as I finish the bottle of water too.

      Yeah, that is so hard for me because I quite happily ignore the water bottle.

    You’re maybe going to laugh at my water drinking hack. I read Atomic Habits a few years back and “habit stacking” really stuck with me. One of my strongest habits is drinking Coke. Now I drink a bottle of water before every Coke. I just chug that junk like it’s medicine. It’s really second nature anymore. Even on vacation I rarely get off track more than a day. I don’t like the papery way my hands feel if I don’t drink enough weather. I had to laugh at your side effect of getting more steps in. Good one.

      Ha! I like that. So before I can have a coffee or tea, I must drink that water. I could do it while the kettle boils.
